We could not get the hot tub too heat up ( this could have just been us not knowing how to work it) directions on how to work hot tub either on the hot tub or posted near the back door would have been nice. The parking is only big enough for 2 cars so plan accordingly. Other than that the cabin was great and we had plenty of room for the 9 of us.

Family Retreat

Overall, the property was great. There was some pet hair but as a pet owner who brought my dogs , i understand and appreciate places that allow pets. The owners were great about answering any questions during our stay and keeping us taken care of. It's surrounded by nature but close to the parkway as well. You can hear some traffic but that didn't bother us. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable in my opinion. We really enjoyed our stay.

Spacious but not clean

The cabin is very spacious. It was dusty. Windows and blinds were dirty. I did reach out to manager. Someone was sent over but I was at the store. I had already cleaned everything needed to be cleaned.

Something for Everyone

We enjoyed our time together, enhanced by a great place to stay. The site provided many different amenities and activities for all ages. The kids had a great time with the games. The adults enjoyed coffee and conversations together on the deck. Location was ideal.

Great Cabin. Very close to everything! Quiet and convenient.

The cabin was bigger than I thought it would be. The hot tub was amazing and the huge bathtub inside was key! They have a great game room downstairs including an arcade game with all the old school favorites. We all enjoyed our time there. The only issue was we didn’t have more time to stay! A definite 5 out of 5 stars! Amy was a great host as well. She sent several links for things to do and checked in with us soon after our arrival to make sure we had all we needed. We definitely appreciated her.

Family Vacation

The location is great!! We really enjoyed making memories while having family game night every night. We loved the pool table, air hockey, and the theater room! The cabin was big and everyone had their own space. Thank you Amy!!

Very nice cabin, plenty to do for everyone plenty room, would definitely stay again. Amy was very friendly quick to respond. And thanks for the cocoa, poinsetta, chocolates, juices that was very nice stayed in a few other cabins before during christmas never got that. That was very thoughtful. Awesome cabin!! Thanks

LOVED it here!

We were locked out for an hour (confirm code before you go), but that was the only hiccup in our trip. We were SO comfortable here that we cried when leaving! Seriously, this place had everything you could need or want. The tvs were especially outstanding, as were the beds. Hope to rent again!

Listing is very misleading. Cabin was dirty and needed repairs.

It was a 3 night stay. The cabin was really dirty upon arrival. Cigarette butts in pots on the porch. Crumbs/ dirt at the front door. Crumbs/dust in every corner of the every room. Carpeted stairs had stains and dirt. The beautiful hot tub photo is the first one on the listing and in reality it smelled moldy and had floating debris. There was no sign of any bromine or chlorine tablets in the floater. The hot tub was unusable. I found a vacuum and broom. My wife and I cleaned for a good hour before the rest of our family arrived so we would have less embarrassment for the cabin we booked and bragged about prior to arrival. We filled the vacuum Twice with dirt, food and hair. My two daughters took a shower and I had to take a plunger to both the lower and middle level showers to get the water to drain. Also the hot water lasted for 10 minutes and was cold until the next day. I’m assuming the hot water tank had just been turned on right before we arrived. One of the daybeds was broken and unsafe to sleep on. The pullout couches were filled with crumbs and hair. I purchased an air mattress for our daughters to sleep on. The rest of the beds were clean enough to sleep in. There were heavy dust and Cobwebs on mirrors, in corners that seemed to had been there several months to years. In summary we did get it cleaned up and made the most of the stay. The previous year we booked the same 3 night stay at another cabin for the same price and we were able to walk around with our shoes off. So this was not a “get what you pay for” cabin. The listing agent did send us welcoming messages and she did check in to see how we were doing often. I did not bother to tell her about how dirty everything was until we left. She said they could have sent a crew in to reclean everything if we would have mentioned it sooner. Honestly I did not want a crew of people coming in mid stay to clean everything up and take up even more of our time. The best we were offered was “we will do better next time”.

Amy is amazing!!

After booking a cabin down the road and being disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin - we were desperate to find accommodations. We are so thankful Amy was so quick to respond! She got us in same day, as we’re lucky that someone had checked out and it was just cleaned. The cabin is perfectly located to all attractions - yet far enough away - you truly feel secluded. 5-10 minute drive to restaurants and shops. Close to Publix. Clean! Amazing! We’ll 100000% stay again !!

Perfect Size for All Eight Adults! Close to Parkway but NOT Too Close!

Such a cute spot to chill and lounge with the entire family! Eight adults stayed here WITHOUT being crowded. Even the bathrooms were plentiful and spacious enough to keep us off each other's toes. There's plenty of options to be apart as well! The porch off the living room easily accommodates 4-6 for quiet time (and drinks!). We didn't partake of the hot tub (we're not really "hot tub people") but the tub seemed well maintained with easy access. The basement easily separates the "rug rats" from the "big kids" AND there's an excellent space in the loft for a family game night! We also played in the living room too - a little more crowded but easy access to snacks! If you are looking for a casual, rustic stay that's close to the Parkway but not on top of the Parkway, then Firefly Dream is an excellent option. Spacious enough for eight adults with plenty of options for quiet time too. A little bit close to other cabins BUT it was quiet and off of the main roads. Lots of trees offered privacy too!

Family Fun

This cabin met our needs and wants as a family of 10. Located away from the hustle and bustle but just a short drive to all the area activities. Lots of amenities and fun things to do within the cabin; pool table, video games, and hot tub.

Wonderful cabin

We had a great time at Firefly cabin. Amy was wonderful with her immediate responses. Cabin was a bit hard to find even with GPS especially that we arrived at night time. Cabin was exactly like the pictures. We found everything we might need already there. Lots of entertainment for adults and kids. Definitely considering going back there again.
