The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of space. Everything was clean and the location was perfect to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The roads up to the cabin were wide and felt very safe. I was so thankful for that. I will add, though, that renters should be aware that the driveway is a challenge. Our minivan required a 4 to 6 point turn to get out. We could have backed out, but the driveway was long, narrow, and was fairly steep to back out of. This wasn't a problem, but I wished we had known. And I think some cars wouldn't be able to turn around at all. In the end, I highly recommend this cabin. It was a wonderful place to stay.

This cabin was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect—close to all the attractions, yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The space was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Our kids had a blast playing pool and air hockey. The host was friendly and very responsive. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

True Smoky Mountain Experience

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we were so excited to see bears around the cabin almost everyday. Our first evening there, we heard & saw a bear in the trees behind the cabin, and another evening, we were surprised by a bear while grilling in the drive way. But our favorite bear siting would be from the kitchen area, we just happened to look out the window and there were 2 cubs and a mama bear making their way down the drive way, the little bears even climbed up the stairs and sniffed around, probably the highlight of our trip for my kids. We’ve been coming to the area almost yearly for the last 10 years or so and this visit was definitely one of the best. The resort pool and workout room were also wonderful, and mostly empty in the early morning. Even though this cabin is in a resort, it felt private since it was in its own little corner, we didn’t hear any neighbors (other than the bears!) The views from the top deck were the best, I spent almost every morning up there watching the sunrise. We will definitely look into booking this cabin again for our next trip.

Absolutely Amazing

We went on a family vacation and loved this cabin so much we began planning our next trip to the area! There were only 4 in our party so we had a ton of extra space, we enjoyed the game room, and coffee on the top floor balcony! The entire cabin looks just like the posted pictures. 10/10 will stay again and will recommend to my friends.

Amazing

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with our kids and some close family friends. The cabin was exactly as listed—clean, comfortable, and with amazing views. The beds were super comfortable, and we all slept great. We had so much fun playing pool in the evenings, and the community pool was such a nice bonus—relaxing and never crowded, which made it even better. One of the highlights was spotting a bear on our last night (we’d been hearing it in the woods all week!). It was such a fun and memorable experience. We’d absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful mountain escape. Cabin is part of a community, but is isolated enough that you kind of forget you have neighbors. We had the best stay!

Overall we had a great time even though we had some issues right off. The ac was not working in the downstairs game room/bedroom area. The owner was nice and sent out a technician and it was fixed that night.The ice maker was broken & the fridge door had no restriction bars to store items in the door. We had to purchase ice the whole time we were there, owner did offer to pay for ice but we did not keep receipts. The view was ok, I expected way more but.. Too open, not enough of privacy & lots of sunshine, not enough of window shades or blinds. Nice resort area, nice pool & lodge.

Very nice cabin

We loved the privacy and the jukebox. The cabin was comfortable and nicely appointed. We were a little disappointed that the amazing views were partially to mostly obstructed by growing trees. Best views are on the upper level deck, no views from lower level deck. There were a few maintenance issues that should be attended to, but they did not affect the enjoyment of our stay. I would stay there again.

Family vacation before school starts!

We had an amazing time at Over The Top! Our host was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had! The property was just as described and perfect for our family of 5. The teenage boys had their space upstairs, my daughter downstairs, and my husband and I on the main level! At night we would all hangout and play pool, listen to music, and relax in the hot tub! We would highly recommend this property!

First Time in Pigeon Forge

We were very pleased to find the Over the Top cabin at Legacy Mountain for our 1st visit to Pigeon Forge. The cabin is everything pictured and listed. It is a lovely cabin within close proximity to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. It is more private than most of the cabins we saw as it sits back a private lane. It offered just enough space and the game room was a great bonus. Although the kitchen, bathrooms, and beds were clean as expected, we were disappointed that the floors had not been vacuumed. We also wish the windows had been cleaned as the view is a top feature of the cabin. In addition, the porches need a good sweeping and we believe there may be a small critter attempting to make a home somewhere near the stairs to the game room level. Other than that, it was really a perfect place to stay!!! Definitely would recommend it to others.
