The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The views were breathtaking and we really enjoyed the hot tub every evening after exploring Pigeon Forge and the national park. The whole resort was quiet and well taken care of. Highly recommend and hopefully we can come back someday!

Views can’t be beat!

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 16) had a wonderful time at this cabin! It had everything you need to feel at home on vacation. My kids loved the game room and could have spent the entire vacation down there!The kitchen was fully stocked, making staying in for meals easy. The beds were comfortable - word of warning for the vertically challenged - the king bed is super tall! I’m 5’3” and had to climb to get in (the top of the mattress was at my waist)!!!!There are wood rails you can use to climb up.We loved the hot tub!Overall, I highly recommend this cabin the hosts were super responsive when contacted. 10/10.

Great stay and wonderful owners

We had a great stay. We loved the view of the mountains. Unfortunately, we had to leave our vacation early. Because of that, we left some shirts in a closet. We contacted the owners and they immediately helped us and shipped our shirts. Thanks so much!

Just awesome

Everything about this property is as advertised. The view is amazing, particularly at sunrise and sunset. We were blessed with some beautiful late fall foliage, capped with a little snow at the far mountain top one morning. The attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are within 30 to 40 minutes away, close enough for day trips but far enough to escape the throngs of tourists. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is practically in the backyard, allowing ample opportunities for early morning or late afternoon trips to view wildlife. We saw a bear, quite a few deer, and turkeys just before sunset in Cades Cove one night and a stunning sunset at Kuwohi another night. The cabin is clean and very comfortable, from the beds to the living room furniture and the deck seating. And there is plenty to keep the entire family entertained in the evening, with a game room, hot tub, and smart TVs. The drive up the mountain is paved and the signage for the resort is helpful. So it was an easy climb for us in a 4-cylinder car, but as the owners advise, you would definitely want AWD or 4WD after a snowfall. All in all a great place to stay and I hope to get back there again soon.

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay in the Smokies

My wife and I made our first trip to the area and had an amazing time. Cabin was just as advertised and the owners were awesome with communication. Cabin was clean and well supplied. This would be great for a small family with lots of games for the family to play.

My family and I had an excellent stay at “forget me knot”. Morning and evening views from the living room are amazing. Cabin is nicely stocked with everything we needed and more! Location was perfect for us as it was outside the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg but close to the GSMNP entrance and bypasses. Great place to relax and unwind. 10/10 will be returning.

Great Family Trip

This trip was the perfect way to unplug and connect with my teenage kids. We loved the family game nights and star gazing from the hot tub. The views from the Preserve were incredible. The cabin was everything we needed. Great trip!

Family vacation

Overall we had a great time. The cabin was nice. We're a family of 6 and everyone had a bed to sleep in comfortably. One minor thing that turned into a little challenge was the bathroom's are in the bedrooms. For future guests hoping to see fireworks from the resort on the 4th, you can't see them. Great proximity to the National Park and attractions for kids. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

Great view and location

Loved this property. Very quiet and outside of the touristy madness of Gatlinburg, but still close to great hiking trails. Absolutely stunning view from the property and very comfortable. Host was very communicative before during and after. Even offered personal recommendations. I would stay here again and for a whole week.

Cozy mountain retreat

Dealing with the owners was a pleasure, with clear instructions and prompt responses. Went here for my son's birthday, and made memories that will last a lifetime. The views were fantastic. Everything was a 10/10. I will definitely be booking here again for my next trip to the smokies.

My family and I spent 2 days in the smoky mountains at this lovely house and had a wonderful time! Gorgeous views! We loved the game room and hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend for any family staying in the area. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and other neighboring towns.

A Wonderfull Weekend

We had a great weekend. The cabin was clean and everything was in great working order. I can’t think of anything I would change about it. The view is incredible. The check in process was very smooth. We highly recommend staying at “Forget Me Knot”.

Outstanding, we loved our stay.

This cabin was perfect for our stay, my wife and I took our 16yo niece on a spring break trip. It is immaculately clean, which we are quite picky about, we felt just as comfortable as if we were relaxing and sleeping at our own home The views are awesome from all areas of the cabin. The hosts were great, they have this home set up with everything you need from kitchen to games to communication and ideas for itineraries. It is located in a resort neighborhood, super quiet area and we always felt like we had our privacy. There is an outdoor pool area that was not yet open for the season but looked like it would be very nice. It is close enough to the attractions but far enough away that we felt like we could chill when we weren’t hanging out at the tourist hot spots. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owners for making their vacation home available to us. On a side note there is a food truck park on Wears Valley Rd about 10 minutes away that we ran into, I’m gonna miss the tacos from Taqueria Macho Taco, they were delicious , highly recommend.
