Excellent property for couples visiting this area. Well presented and maintained. Excellent buffet breakfast In general the property and its facilities could not be faulted. The complimentary tea coffee cake and after dinner port showed a fine attention to detail. Regrettably, and the only downside the owner lacked a warmth, empathy and interest in her guests at each touch point, on arrival, at breakfast and at departure ….. such a pity as she has an outstanding business which deserves to do well.

Delightful property in quiet rural location with lovely seaward views. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom, spotlessly clean. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Amazing stay! Very nice location with great views from the room on the ocean. Accomadation is simply superb with a lot of attention for details. One of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to WA with excellent service from the staff and owner. Highly recommended!

Great location with amazing views. Very peaceful, clean and tidy. Good news that the owners are aware it needs updating and renovations are about to start. Thanks to Ruth and staff for making our stay a lovely experience.

Nice views of the valley. Room was clean. Tv didn’t work proper and flickered for most the channels. The bed was uncomfortable could feel the springs and dropped off from the middle & the pillows were terrible other than that was good.

Great little quiet retreat
Very peaceful and picturesque location with amazing views across to the coast and inlet and access to some very nice walk trails with equally stunning views. Thanks very much to the welcoming and friendly owners (and dogs!) for a fabulous and comfortable stay. Nice selection of breakfast and the round the clock tea, coffee and chocolate cake was fab! Our room was comfortable and quiet and had great views out over the grounds and coast. Enjoyed making use of the board games. We had one of the most relaxing massages in the spa as well to cap off a great stay.

The hotel is in a fantastic setting.there are games available in the lounge area.we were surprised to find cooked breakfast was extra as the accomodation is quite expensive.

The owners were very welcoming and the room with ocean view very comfortable.Continental breakfast offered plenty of choice , and 24hr tea,coffee etc in the reception area was good. The outside pool needed some tlc .Very peaceful setting.We enjoyed our stay ,the hotel was convenient for visiting the Denmark area

Disappointing and very expensive
We were disappointed in Chimes Retreat. It is in need of updating and we felt there was a lot of cost cutting. Breakfast was included but did not offer fresh fruit or any form of protein - cheese/ham. Eggs were extra. The breakfast room was very cold despite a log combustion fire being in the area and not being used. The owners seemed disinterested. Expensive and not value for money!

Fantastically located in Denmark with regards to the best beaches, wineries and restaurants. Accomodation and hosts excellent.

Couple pleasure
Chimes was amazing, totally relaxing. Better than a hotel, a home away from home. Large well appointed rooms with spas. Beautiful general public area and deck both with amazing estuary and ocean views. The hosts were lovely friendly people and they made a great breakfast The complimentary port by the fire was a nice touch and the day spa on site was unreal

A beautiful quiet adult retreat. Lovely hosts. An open bathroom a bit odd otherwise everything very good. Beautiful views.
