“This was a gem for our ski trip. Before checkin the staff was very helpful with transportation suggestions and questions. Because the road to the hotel is not drivable in the winter you call the hotel from the parking/bus area and they come and pick you up via snowmobile, this in itself was a fun experience for my son.
The room was quite, clean, and had the right amenities. The food was Japanese but very good and staff ensures dietary restrictions are met. ”

“The hotel itself is very clean, updated, comfortable. The room we had was on the traditional side and was spacious with a separate bedroom with balcony with river view.
Buffet dinner was delicious. Hot tubs is clean and amenities including shower head were great. Recommend to stay just one night. Because the “Kinugawa” itself is a small town and surrounded by abandoned buildings, not much to do.
The check in staff didn’t let me know you needed reservation for the return taxi. I planned to grab...
