“Voici un endroit splendide pour se détendre, que ce soit en famille pour partager des instants précieux avec les enfants ou en amoureux, au cœur d'un panorama magnifique. Le personnel est aux petits soins, et les repas sont raffinés et délicieux. Nous avons été ravis par toutes les balades et chemins que nous avons parcourus. Ce fut des moments savoureux, nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.”

“Wonderful little spot! The lady at reception was so friendly and the unit was clean, cosy and comfortable. We met a lovely kid you the name of Fanfan, who sometimes sells clay African animals across the road from windmill farm. What a lovely young man- go meet him if he is around. ”
“We had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens.”
“This place is a small piece of heaven! Great service from all staff right from the very beginning. Before arrival - Comms were timely and accurate and helpful. The meals provided were great (especially the Oxtail stew! 😋) and delivered to your individual lodge. The situation of the lodge is beautiful - wherever you look the scenery transfixes you. “This was my second stay here and the staff made the stay perfect. They were, pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. The room floors could do with a scrub as well as washing and tidying up the curtains. Other than that everything else was perfect. Washroom facilities were spot on but shower floor corners need a clean.
What we took away...the beautiful staff. They are your best assets there. Then comes the views. Thank you Emma and Team”
“Modern rooms with great amenities. Fantastic location on lake with braai outside under room on private balcony. Great for couples getaway or even multiple couples as there are excess cutlery in the room”
