“The welcome was friendly and check in efficient. The room was delightful - room 3. The evening meal was simply delicious and very fairly priced. Breakfast was tasty and filling and all you needed. Good quality bacon. The little shop had lots to tempt for early Xmas presents too. We wish the business all the best, will recommend to everyone we know and will be back soon.”

“We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. “Nice hotel, good value for money and super comfy bed! The shower didn’t drain very well, but other than that it was fantastic.”

“The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price.”

“The room was clean and big. it feels new and the pub next door was decent. it was a great location to explore Bath, the Cotswalds, Stratford, Stonehenge, and Wells/Glastonbury. There were some staffing shortages that led to some hiccups, but that was situational and shouldn't be a problem moving forward.”
