“This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. “Great place to stay. Roomy and clean. If you are bothered by dog noise such as running back and forth on the floor above and barking this may not be ideal. If that doesn’t bother you then you will love staying here. We had a rental car so getting in to town was a breeze. It’s a fair walk into town but doable. The car was great for getting to some of the more remote areas of Sitka for hiking and nature. ”
