Formerly it was the district of the red light of Ketchikan. The brothels were banned and closed in 1954. Now the street is a place with shops, galleries, totems and the museum of the House of Dolly. I've done a number of ziplines and this is one of the best. The views are stunning and the trees are so tall you really get a thrill zipping from one to the next. Plus, there's the added excitement of possibly spotting a black bear underneath you as you whizz by! This is a view from one of the platforms.

We enjoyed our stay, property was just what we needed...a place to sleep, shower and minimal cooking for a few days. Bed is against the wall on one side and squeaked when you rolled over, but that was the only downside to our stay. Overall we would give it an excellent rating.
