The location, lake and home was perfect for what we were looking for.The three level home was clean and fun. The master bedroom on the third floor was wonderful waking up to the window wall steering at the gorgeous Lake. The hosts answered my messages quickly. We drove into Clemson which was fun. While we were there we had dinner at Rick Erwin restaurant which was perfect. We also had dinner at the nearby Lighthouse Restaurant, which was also awesome and close. I would have easily given this review of five rating. The check-in process although easy to get through the door of the house, but the turning, winding road, finding the house and parking was challenging in the dark, being there for the first time. There weren't many lights in the parking lot or near the road you had to drive down to unload your car. All the door number were in black on a brown background. After the first time there was no problem. We happen to catch perfect weather for our few days. We love to eat out on the deck and watch the lake and boats. It seems, the Bumble carpenter bees came early this year. Even though we know they do not sting, they tend to hover near your face area and around the area where you're sitting and eating. Because there were dozens, it made eating outside a little uncomfortable. The host told us they treat for these bees but have not yet . So any other time of year you should be fine. Other than those two items, you will love this location and the lake is crystal clear.
