Esta acogedora cabaña ubicada a orillas del hermoso río Colorado es perfecta para una escapada tranquila y relajante. La cabina es un piso de dos pisos totalmente amueblado con capacidad para 6. Tenemos una planta baja desplegable de tamaño completo, una planta alta y una reina arriba y un baño. Esta es la propiedad perfecta para quienes disfrutan de la tranquilidad del río y la belleza de los pueblos pequeños. Disfruta de la vista del río desde el porche trasero, pesca bajo / perca / bagre, o lanza un bote desde la rampa para botes cercana. Disfrute de la ciudad de Smithville caminando por el adorable centro de la ciudad con sus tiendas y restaurantes o tome un corto viaje a Bastrop o Austin.

Lovely home with a few bits that could be improved

Great location. Beautiful riverfront. A new shower curtain rod would be a simple fix. Would suggest a full length mirror, and wifi access. Thank you for having us!!

Peaceful and fun

A nice spot to unwind and get away from the city life. This place is very clean and has everything you need to make it a special experience. We all had an awesome time and cant wait to revisit.

Perfect simple landing space for our “on the go”vacation

Everything is as advertised. Right on the river. Quiet. Nice deck view for morning coffee. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal with Walmart 15-20 min away for groceries.

The best little/big place to stay!!

For us (4) adults, This was the perfect place, location, and proximity to water. We could not have been any happier than staying at this place. Neighbors were respectful and considerate of our stay. The owner promptly responded to a question that I had. If the property owner will have us again, we plan on coming back late October or early November. And hopefully many times after that! This is in our opinion of five star place.

Basic cottage on river

Very clean. Spacious living room area and bathroom. Kitchen small and basic, no dishwasher, ice maker or ice trays. Be prepared to bring your own. Spiral stairs to beds upstairs. Did not attempt to get suitcases up stairs. If anyone has mobility issues may be difficult as front steps steep and no rails. Very quite with large deck in back. Great place for morning coffee. No Wi-fi.

Nice little house!

Audrea's a great host and raced over late at night to fix a faulty smoke alarm. I'd wished we had water access, but the view was really lovely. Cute house! Very easy to get to town for food, errands.

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed the property. It was clean and comfortable. The only complaint is that the bedroom was upstairs and it was a challenge for us to climb the spiral staircase. Otherwise it was as advertised and the bow of the river was perfect.

Cute little house for getaway

This cute little A-frame house is good for a space to unplug and relax. Second floor did get warm since heat rises but they had a floor fan available and we opened the window to help regulate the temp. Being able to sit outside on the porch and enjoy the river was a big plus. We did some fishing but didn’t get anything, still want nice to relax. House has all that is needed from pots, utensils, towels and bedding.

Absolutely delightful!

The River House is a great place to get away. Clean, comfortable ( great sleeping beds!) and quiet with a perfect private section of the Colorado river to enjoy. We had a wonderful time and I expect to return soon!

Colorado in Smithville

Great setting on the river. Visited all the painted churches in the area. Spiral staircase was a little tuff. So we sleep on the down stairs pull out sleeper, which quite comfortable. Nice safe stairway to river.
