Loved the fenced in backyard. Made traveling with our dogs so much easier. House could have been cleaned better but overall no complaints that warrant taking a star over. We'd book it again.

The house was amazing. It was perfect for me and my sister to enjoy a nice getaway to the beach. My dog loved the backyard so he could run around and play. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Mold

There seems to be a mold problem in the house and our child reacted severely to it. The dryer in the house squeaks incessantly when running and also does not dry items on the first cycle. When the furnace kicks on it sounded like a jet engine every time. Location to the beach was great and the fenced in yard was just what we were looking for with our dogs but unfortunately the mold shortened our stay by 2 days.

SEWAGE

This property has a history of sewage issues. During our stay, we had issues with the sewage, where none of the toilets would flush, and sewage water started getting backed up through the shower drains. Upon noticing this, we immediately tried calling the emergency number provided multiple times, but got no response, so we texted the number in hopes that someone would get back to us. We ended up getting a response from someone, and he said they were working on getting a plumber out that evening and they would update us. We went the rest of our stay with no updates, and the entire place smelt of fecal matter, so much to a point where all of the windows had to be cracked in order for it to be bearable enough for us to sleep. We were not able to bare the smell, use the showers, or the toilets for the rest of the stay

House was perfect for our stay. Loved the back yard with fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable with no worries. We will be back!!

My stay at Misty Hollow

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice place! We had a great stay except the ants! The ants were horrible in side the house and in the yard! When we left we even had ants inside our cars!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good company to work with. Property was very clean and comfortable. Did have issues with sewage. 1st night when washing machine spun out the sewage backed up into the showers. Called in and septic pump service was there early in the morning to pump out. Was given a gift card for the inconvenience. Two nights later same issue only worse. Firm did offer to pay for hotel room For that night but we stayed.(Didn't see text message until next morning).Would stay in this property again if the plumbing issues get corrected. Quiet and convenient location.
