I rented this property for a retirement celebration, and unfortunately, the condition of the home fell well below expectations.Upon arrival, cleanliness was a major concern. There was visible hair on multiple pillows, and one of the showers would not drain due to being clogged with hair. In the third-floor master suite, there was blood on the comforter, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, there was a brown substance on a blanket in the living room, raising further concerns about how well the property had been cleaned prior to our stay. The bunk room beds were also not made when we arrived.The listing was also inaccurate regarding sleeping arrangements. The property was advertised as having four king beds; however, only two rooms actually had king beds, which created confusion and inconvenience for our group.There were several maintenance and safety issues as well. A toilet paper holder was broken, and one of the high-back brown chairs in the living room had bent legs to the point that it could not be safely used due to the risk of it collapsing.A significant safety concern was the driveway. Two separate vehicles in our group ended up with flat tires after being punctured by a screw and a nail while parked there. This resulted in unexpected expenses and reflects a lack of proper property upkeep.Lastly, the grill was not functional. Although there was propane, it would not heat properly—even when set to high—making it unusable for cooking.
