“Very peaceful location in pretty village with thatched cottages and near the river for riverside walks. Good security and entry instructions emailed by host pre-arrival. Room was beautifully decorated and all very clean. Lovely shower. Great breakfast delivered to the room - choice of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, jam/marmalade, orange juice. “The bedroom was okay but very noisy but it did the job just.”

“I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be used by the council to house individuals with drug and alcohol issues, which created an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment. There were visible burn marks on tables consistent with drug use, and noise levels were high at all hours of the day and night. Local businesses even confirmed this is an ongoing issue. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to relax or get proper rest, and I would not choose to stay here again.”
