“Perfect for our one night stop-over enroute to another venue. It's quite a big, old building with some quirky features but we had everything needed in our room which was well presented. Staff were personable. Breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a one-way road system. It's compact car park is to the rear of the property. If you miss the hotel car park sign on approach and pass the hotel on your left, follow the one-way clockwise, turning left just before the hotel. ”

“Check-in was friendly and helpful and accommodating, the lobby area was spacious and open, my bedroom was large/spacious/clean. The bathroom was clean with an excellent shower and facilities. (NB: The hotel has recently acquired new owners and an extensive renovation has commenced and as a result not all areas are accessible/usable ...... YET!) There is no restaurant or room service available other than beverage facilities in the room. The grounds surrounding the hotel desperately need work...

“Stayed here a few times when visiting family. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, really sets you up for the day. Living in the US you don't get breakfast like this. The only thing I would like to see is the amenities in the bathroom more eco friendly. Liquid hand soap as opposed to a bar. Some hotels even have the dispensers in the showers. This would have been handy for our shower as you had to put the shower gel on the floor. Coffee, not used to making this with...
