I would book this unit again

Great condo in an amazing location. I would book this unit in the future. I wish the sand on the deck and windows facing the ocean would have been cleaned prior to our arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here while in San Diego for our son’s wedding. The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean and had the most amazing view of the ocean. The beds were extremely comfortable! The location is walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping and a short car ride to other coastal towns. Would highly recommend this rental! Worth every bit of the money!! And the property is fully gated walking, driving and parking!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pacific Perch has spacious rooms and a very good floor plan, that includes spacious open kitchen, dining, and living area. The 2 bedrooms are down a long hall that allows for privacy for both rooms. The views of the Pacifc are excellent ! Location of this condo in the complex is also quite good close toParking garage and also close to steps down to the beach. Additionally, it’s in walkable area Ro shops and restaurants in Solana Beach. Only negative is ice maker not working and there is cluster of cables and cords over to one side of living room, with that said we would definitely come back to this condo. Also, Stubbs is very easy and pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Look forward to coming back !

A comfortable well-equipped condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was furnished very comfortably except that the closet in the smaller bedroom was full of stuff being stored on the floor which made hanging clothes difficult until I moved some of the stuff away. The second bedroom is also small, tight around the bed. Lighting from fan could be better brighter. Wifi connection was spotty, mostly in bedrooms and bathrooms. When I called Stubbs about the wifi and a toilet that wasn't working they responded quickly. Both improved for a while but later continued to be problematic. Sliding door screens in two places were stuck. Two outlets didn't work. Kitchen didn't have a peeler or kettle. Electric kettle was provided by Stubbs. I didn't mention the peeler to them or the stuck screen doors. We enjoyed playing games that we found in the pantry. As for the outer property, could use some updating and repair especially in the pool areas. Chairs had missing slats. Security is tight but annoying to have to have a key for everything including the bathroom at the pool. We only got one key for property which isn't enough for four adults. Door knobs to garage and other places are sprayed with smelly lubricant which gets on your hands. Overall, condo was excellent.

The accomodation this year was overal very nice, with the view being outstanding; we especially enjoyed the outside seating area for reading and watching sun setsThe only disappointment was that considering the cool June weather we should have been informed that the fireplace was not functional.

It’s nice to deal with a local company and their customer service is unmatched. This specific unit has the best view and has been the most kid friendly we have stayed in. There is room to spread out and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Solana Beach is the best beach town around with great shops and restaurants, easier to get around while driving and walking and close to the train station if you want to take a train adventure. The stairs down to and up from the beach area will keep you in shape and are close to the property. Stubbs Realty management has been great to work with, good communication, responsive, clear check in and check out instructions.

Enjoyable stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would have stayed longer, if offered a lower rate to extend stay a few more days, prior to arriving. We will be back.

The condo was beautiful, the view was magnificent and I would certainly rent again with Stubbs. The only negative was that the couch was stained and ripped. Feathers were coming out of the pillows. Couch and rugs in living room and dining room need to be replaced. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Gorgeous Ocean Sunsets!

Very Pleasant Stay

Seascape Sur is an excellent property and this unit has beautiful views. The Dave Stubbs team is great to work with due to their expertise in the area. Thank you to the owner for providing all the comforts of home and an outstanding bevy of books to read!

Amazing property and stay!

We had an amazing week at this wonderful property. The comfortable living area and floor to ceiling ocean views with the sound of the waves will keep a smile on my face for weeks! Coffee on the patio, well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, plenty of sleeping with comfortable mattresses and crisp, clean linens. Condo is in a great location with short distance to the parking garage and spaces as well as the beach access gate and stairs. I love Solana and the cliff views from above and below and the stairs will certainly keep you in shape. This beach is so pleasant and not too crowded. Adore walking south to Del Mar dog beach and north to Fletcher Cove. Also love the various shops and restaurants within walking distance. This year we walked to the train station and took the Coaster train to cities for the adventure. I would absolutely recommend this property. Property management communicated well and are very close for check-in and out.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in Unit #115. The unit is way below the standard one would expect. Carpets dirty, blinds broken, plumbing coming apart, furniture ripped from pets perhaps etc. Our Stubbs representative confirmed that the owners were aware of the problems previously. A terrific property location we would use again. Not this unit. We toured other rentals in substantially better shape!

Reviewer Comments: LOCATION:There are some shopping\food places within a few blocks walk, but it takes a short drive to reach a larger assortment of choices. There are LOTS of good places to eat within a 15-minute drive.COMPLEX:The complex is very quiet and non-smoking (but there was that one guy...)The pools were still mostly restricted due to Covid, so the lounge chairs were lacking. The pool\spa were clean and well heated. The parking spaces were pretty close to the unit (which isn’t the case with all units), but it is still a little distance to hump all your stuff (with some stairs)UNIT:The unit is well loved (read: some minor holes in the couch, stains on the carpet, etc), but everything was very comfortable.The sound of the ocean drowns out most of the little noise within the unit, but if the people above, below or next door to you open closets, slam doors, walk in heels, etc., you will hear it.There were some maintenance issues that need to be addressed (slow tub drain, broken ice maker, outlets not working). Also, they need to clean the glass on the balcony railing, what is the point of having that great view if you have to look through dirty glass!!Nitpicky stuff: There should be another nightstand in the front bedroom, needs a light in the living room, an electronic lock on the front door would be convenient (and more secure).The unit was WELL stocked. There was all kinds of stuff in the place (kitchen accys, games, towels, tools, cleaning supplies, pillows, blankets, books, beach chairs & umbrella, etc). Nothing was lacking.The little patio off the master bedroom was useless since it didn’t have any furniture. BEACH ACCESS:While you have a GREAT view of the ocean from the unit, getting to the beach takes a seven-flight stair climb (and not those little 5-10 step flights). Do not stay here... so that we can.

This place is absolutely amazing. The accommodations are comfortable and clean and I can't remember when I have slept better in an "away" location. No photos could ever capture the reality of the breathtaking views that this place has to offer. It is my recommendation that you look for a place to stay elsewhere so that we can continue to return to this place every year (if not more often).
