Fantastic property. Can't be closer to the lake unless you are staying on a boat. Kids loved the pool, spa, lake, restaurants and shops nearby. Was a great place in an amazing location. Driven by this location more times than I can count and wish I would have stayed sooner.

Knock-out views

We enjoyed our stay in the place on the lake, and never got tired of sitting and chatting with that view always front and center. We’ll be back!

It is very close to the pool, hot tub and fire pits. The development is convenient to CVS, While Foods, Safeway and many restaurants. We were so pleased with our stay and would definitely return and request this unit.

Amazing view and close to everything

I stayed here with friends for a ski weekend at Heavenly. The view is unbeatable! The pantry was stocked well with essentials for cooking. We comfortably fit 8 adults and all enjoyed the property.

This was the best experience we’ve had at Lake Tahoe. RNR was professional, accommodating, responsive, and very pleasant. Facility was recently renovated and clean and in a perfect location. Well use RNR again.

Very Bear-y

The property and view were beautiful, we were just surprised that there are bears living in the complex! One night, a bear ripped open our bear box, and feasted on our in n out leftovers. Lovely house, and very cozy. Awesome hosts as well. Definitely recommend! Just be aware of bears :)

Great Lakefront Unit with Awesome Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family of 10 rented this unit and really enjoyed it. The place easily slept us all. We loved hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching sunsets. The place looks just like the pictures and has a well equipped kitchen. Management was very responsive to all communications. Keep in mind that the beach is open to all guests at the complex. It was busy over the 4th of July weekend but we didn't mind and could always get a seat (plus we had the deck). The rest of the week was not crowded. If we return to Tahoe we will definitely book this unit again.

The home had everything we needed to relax, make a good meal, enjoy the lake/beach daily, and much more. We enjoyed our stay very much. Lakeland Village was close to everything including shopping, groceries, and eats. We spent time on the beach daily and even walked to Heavenly area for lunch one day. Trails are infinite all around. Casino fun was also a plus. Horseback riding in Zephyr Cove and Parasailing at Ski Run are definitely a plus. RnR is always a pleasure to book though. Great communication. Would defineitly recommend staying here

Reviewer Comments: With the exception of ants inside and out as well as the high window not having a shade to block the intense sun during an extremely hot week for Tahoe, our overall stay was very nice. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The late check in and early check out times also took a couple days away from the overall stay which was disappointing.

Cozy and clean

This condo felt very warm and cozy. It had everything I have in my kitchen, which made staying in and cooking comfortable and easy. The lake view is second to none, but the property is popular for vacation rentals so people walk by the back door often and the hot tub was always crowded at sunset. There is a second hot tub that we didn't use that might have been less crowded. As long as that doesn't bother you as it didn't bother us, this is an excellent rental that was easy to check-in and out of. I would definitely recommend this location to any small friend groups looking for a place where they plan on staying in more than going out or for families.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we loved this place. Being right on the lake was magical. Like other reviews said, the decor is very dated, but it was very clean. There were some stains on carpet in living room, but all other carpet was clean. The bedding on all the beds was good quality. The kitchen was well stocked except no olive oil. The king and queen beds were comfortable, but the ladies who slept in the twins said they were uncomfortable and the bed frame moved around a lot any time they moved. Even tho it sleeps 10, there’s not seating for 10 on the couch. They need a sectional to be able to seat more. This wasn’t a big deal to us, but the TV is old and complicated to use; they need a smart TV for guests. The location was prime; we walked to get donuts and walked up to Heavenly Village. I would definitely stay here again!

Some good some bad

Start with the good. Excellent location and view of the lake. Beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Fred the neighborhood bear came by a couple times which was incredible to see. Now the bad. Pictures are obviously taken when the place was new. Carpet is stained, couch is ripped, kitchen and bathroom tile floor need deep cleaning. Neighbors very close but mostly friendly. One day we get notification that our water would be turned off for 6 hours the next day. We had 7 women who needed to eat, shower, use the toilet etc... One of us was ill and in bed and couldn't go out for food or water. They apologized and brought bottled water and told us how to poor the water in the toilet tank so that it would flush. Also advised us to fill the bathtub with water and use that for toilet flushing so we could save the bottled water for cooking. Just what I wanted to do on my long awaited vacation. Next day the railing on the front steps was painted. We weren't told and there wasn't a "wet paint" sign. Clothes were ruined when arms were placed on the rail. I was offered $150 as compensation.

Charming Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third stay at Lakeland Village in the past four years. I have had pleasant stay in all of our visits here. .This time it was a mixed experience for our group. Some of us really enjoyed and felt this place was more like home away from home, while a couple others felt that it wasn’t their best experience compared to their past visit to Lake Tahoe. First of all the weather was not on our side. The front desk staffs were completely unaware of the parking situation. Told us we could park right in front of the property, only for the security to come and tell us to move our car. It was quite a hassle carrying luggage from another parking lot in that freezing temperature. The other concern was some of the rooms were overheated while one was freezing and also the beds were uncomfortable as per my cousins. I had no complaints about my king bed, but was frequently up due to overheating even though the thermostat was set to 72. Had to open the window, while my cousin upstairs complained it was too cold. So our sleep was not the best, but the views outside made us quite relaxed.Also we should have been notified about the ongoing construction, and that most of the amenities were closed! Not fair for the price we paid and couldn't even take advantage of any of those features. The worst part of this stay was, I ended up getting itchy rashes all around my thighs and arms when I sat right by the coat hanging seat area. This was right before I checked out after cleaning. My entire drive home ended up scratching my thighs and arms and it has gotten worse as I write this review. I have updated my doctor with pictures and am waiting to hear from him.Finally, an unfortunate experience! While loading my car in Alpine lot, the construction guys were there to mark the lot. I asked him politely that it would take me two minutes to load and leave. He looked pretty annoyed and said that “This is not a motel.” Given my looks, does it have to do
