Second visit to this property in 4 years. It’s a perfect walk to the beach or town. The property itself is in need of some TLC with dishes and glasses either missing or chipped. We also had a heat issue but management responded right away the first day.

Took the family to Tahoe on our yearly vacation. We booked this property at the last minute and WOW!!! Did it click all the boxes. Property was amazing clean, roomy, and perfect location. Plus not to mention very private location without the private prices. My family had an amazing time and look forward to coming again in the near future.

South Shore Gem

Excellent location to everything in Heavenly Village. I truly appreciated the management’s response when we had questions and when we needed some extra towels. They were very helpful and quick to bring over what we needed. I do wish that we had a few more things in the kitchen that would have been helpful with our food prep, like measuring cups but other than that I enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

Close to Amenities - South Lake Tahoe

Close to amenities in South Lake Tahoe, easy walk! Home was clean, simple to manage, lovely furnishings. The added bonus of having old school arcade games and shuffleboard was such a fun treat!

Annual Tahoe Vacation

Overall, this rental extremely convenient and met the needs of our entire family. The kids especially loved the bunk beds. My father especially loved the short walking distance to the casinos. My sister and niece especially loved the nearby shopping. It was the perfect place to celebrate my uncle and nieces birthdays and end of summer vacation.

Great Stay

Stayed for a ski trip with friends and our teenage boys. The location is great, a very quick walk to Heavenly village. The unit was clean, kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware (more so than many other rentals we’ve stayed in). The arcade and shuffleboard are a nice extra that our group had fun playing. Would definitely stay again.

A good visit

This is a very good property and we highly recommend it. We had a few minor issues with the property management company that were mostly addressed, but otherwise the property is as described and the location is outstanding. We will likely stay there or in another property within that development again in the future.

Nice condo in a great location. Master Bedroom has a terrible bed. Looks like the utensils in the kitchen were purchased at a rummage sale.

Girls’ Trip Weekend Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this condo! It was perfect for a weekend girls getaway. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to the casinos, making it convenient for both relaxation and entertainment. The added excitement of seeing a bear when we first arrived, added to the Tahoe charm The condo itself was comfortable and offered some fun extras, like shuffleboard and a classic video game unit, which made our time indoors just as enjoyable. The only suggestion I would make is to add a few more glasses to the kitchen and upgrade the blender, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Nice place!

We enjoyed our stay, appreciated the attention of the management company. We have several very minor suggestions... frying pans need to be replaced and we could use more; bathroom lights go on automatically (wish we could turn that off). Great time with the games. Thanks so much.

Fantastic spot near south lake

We had an amazing time here. The property is nice although you have neighbors above you and beside you. It is a short walk to the beach and a medium walk to the state line. The unit itself is large and clean. The AC was not very cool but we were not there on a very hot weekend luckily.

weekend at Tahoe

We had a group of friends stay for a weekend celebration. As we were all senior citizens, we did not miss having a hot tub or pool. The location was great, we could walk to Whole Foods for incidentals and some restaurants were close by. We did not gamble, but the casinos are also close. It did seem as if the warnings about noise were a little strident, but it was very quiet. We searched for two days for the garbage disposal switch before we finally found it by looking up under the sink. All the beds were comfortable.

The Weekend Full of Surprises

All in all, our time spent was fun. However, there were many surprises that occurred. The central heating system was down so the property manager provided electric heaters. This was fine, except we had to keep them on the lowest setting in order to not blow a breaker. Even then, the breaker blew many times during our stay. The other surprise was the 2 feet of snow that fell while we were there. it definitely changed our plans, but we made the best out of it. The property was nice, my only complaint would be I wish the customer service was a little more understanding and accommodating.

Great Location for access to Heavenly and Lake.

This is a nice cozy place to stay. We are 4 adults. It will sleep up to 10, however the living area is small, so it will be crowded with 10 people. It was very clean. A few issues that we had were that it was hard to heat the downstairs where the master bedroom and the bunkbed bedroom are located. They had space heaters, but it was still quite cold. The master bedroom’s king bed needs to be replaced. Every time my spouse rolled over or got out of bed, the bed squeaked and woke me up. Extra blankets or a heavier comforter would have been nice too. Body wash in shower was empty in both master bathroom and hall bathroom downstairs. The TV in master bedroom had no Wi-Fi signal. Suitcase racks would be nice in bedrooms. There were only 5 coffee cups and wine glasses. Might be a problem for a bigger group. Hopefully manager/owner will read this review and fix these issues. We did not see a way to contact the owner through VRBO about these issues so we decided to write it in review instead.

If you are looking for a **SMELLY, DIRTY** place with what looks like mold in the baths, this is the place to be! Filthy carpets that stunk and were stained all over, worn area rugs, foul smelling bedding in the bunk bed room, badly scratched up pans that NO ONE should be using (See teflon coating mostly gone) - all these greeted us when we checked in last week. I immediately called guest relations who sent a cleaning crew to investigate. They came by, saw the stains and smelled the dirty carpets and bedding, said they were going to return with cleaning supplies, fresh comforters and NEVER returned. I spent 2 hours on the phone repeatedly calling and was assured every single time that someone would return ASAP to address the situation. I stayed in the home all evening, afraid to leave, in case the cleaning crew returned. I finally got an email and text late in the evening stating that they spoke to their cleaning crew who insisted they had cleaned the home and no further cleaning was necessary. Our family of 5 with my 88 yr old mother-in-law had to endure the filth (see detailed pictures below) for 2 days. They refused to refund our rental, or credit us for the inconvenience. It was too late to find another place for just a 2 nights. SO I got cleaning supplies, sprayed the carpet, avoided the shower with the smelly curtain (black spots) did not use the lower bunk beds. NO A/C btw, and it gets hot! Dirty balcony, stained cushions, dusty sofas. No part of the home was 'CLEAN'!

My vacation

The condo/townhome was very nice. Clean, had everything you would possibly need for a vacation home. Was aesthetically very nice. And it’s a great location if you want to be close to everything. Unfortunately, we did not have a gate code to get inside of the complex had to wait 40 minutes for that then when we got to the front door, we didn’t succeed with the code that was given to us. After calling the one 800 number they said I was gonna have to go with a generic code that they sent me which was fine, but we were standing outside for another 20 minutes. Honestly found no issues with the townhome itself. I don’t have anything bad to say about this day. We were very comfortable and felt safe in our surroundings, etc. Whomever is overseen this property as far as management needs to step it up . There is a note inside on the wall laminated with all of the rules that says we cannot use the hot tub past 10 PM. There was no hot tub. Second of all the mishap with the gate in the door was a little offputting and they weren’t very kind about it , customer service almost seemed a little irritated. But for me, the last straw on the customer service side was I had been trying to reach out since Thursday to ask for a simple late check out. Considering you get there Friday, you cannot check in till 4 PM then you have to check out by 10 AM on Sunday seems a little ridiculous considering the amount of money you’re spending I feel it should be noon to noon. Anyhow, not happy w/ Management.
