“This seems to be a restaurant with rooms upstairs rather than a hotel with a restaurant downstairs. It started a couple of days before when the hotel sent a message saying that "some rooms" have steep stairs and to notify them if that was an issue, so they could best accommodate. I was a little caught off-guard, but just replied I would have heavy luggage and it would probably be best to be placed in a room that wouldn't require the steep stairs. “Location location location. It is right in St Ives on the beach. Work out facilities were dated. Loud music playing with no consideration for guests working out. The restaurant is not a destination. Many other better options in the area. A watch out. If traveling with lots of luggage get ready for a strenuous pilgrimage from the train to the hotel up a winding path with stairs.”
