“We had a great stay and the location was very close to Oban which was convenient. However the kitchen was very lowly stocked. Generally with our previous experience with vrbo, there was at least some oil for cooking, which was not the case here. Also, the toilets work very poorly and required flushing 3+ times for even a minimal amount of toilet paper which was a bit stressful.”

“The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.”

“Short drive to Oban where you can explore all the islands via the ferry. Perfect location. The view from the place was incredible and the place itself was spacious, clean, perfect really. Highly recommend it without any hesitation!”

“A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!”

“The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. ”

“This is a wonderful place to stay and a great base for exploring the Argyle coast. The hosts are extraordinarily nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay great. The place is cozy, right down the road from a lovely pub and restaurant, close to all of the Kilmartin sights, and easy to get to towns, hikes, and anything else you could want. Highly recommended.”

“Enjoyed our visit to the Castle Sween as well as the Kilmory Chapel. The loop from Talbert to Killberry Castle was stunning. We had an excellent meal in Tayvallich (the mussels were huge) last night there would most definitely visit this area again”

“As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.”

“This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.”

“The accommodation was to a high standard and very comfortable with stunning views. Lismore is a wonderful, tranquil island, rich in wildlife and beautiful scenery. Otters and seals spotted daily from the accommodation. Mother otter and pup seen at Point and Port Ramsay during the day. Loved watching the nesting birds and geese with small goslings. Hope to be back.”

“We all immediately felt relaxed upon walking through the door. The place just has a cozy feel. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to decompress and just hang out. You must go to Puck's Glen though, which will be more than enough exercise for your stay.”
