“Loved it on every level. Cottage was super clean and loved the style and the size. There is a pond and a field out back with fireplaces and areas to sit and hang out. Perfect for the morning walk with the dog. The cottages are fairly close to each other but each had their own very private deck so I didn’t mind at all. Communication from the hosts was also perfect whilst leaving you enough privacy. Would come back for sure. ”

“This property had so many unexpected amenities. The host anticipates the guests needs (bug spray by the fire pit is just one example). Great walkable location close to downtown Boothbay Harbor.”

“This was our 3rd vrbo stay in Harpswell and our first on Bailey Island. We went for part of the week on our own and cousins joined us there for a couple of days. We were thrilled to bring our Boston Terrier along, too! The house is rustic yet elegant in some ways (amazing steam room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds & bedding). Like many other reviewers, we spent tons of time on the lovely porch relaxing and enjoying the always beautiful view of the water, birds, boats, and sunrises and...

“I was immediately 'wowed' by the interior when I opened the door. The pictures don't do it justice. What otgers have said about how well equipped it was and all the comforts provided are exactly correct. Quite, beautiful view, safe, convenient location!!”

“What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.”

The location of this property is excellent - the views are great and a walk from the house to Grime's Cove couldn't be more beautiful.
