Flying Mountain Townhouse

  • Flying Mountain Townhouse is the perfect spot for your Acadia National Park getaway. Great for families or 2 couples traveling together. New and well appointed, this townhouse will provide a relaxing spot to enjoy your vacation. Three blocks from the town center. Various access points to the park are less than 2 miles from the townhouse. Bar Harbor and the Park Loop Road are 20 minutes away. Need accommodations for multiple families - pair it with another townhouse. 3 night minimum stay in season, 2 night minimum during the off season. This townhouse is the middle unit. All townhouses had additional soundproofing and AC recently added.

Stay at Flying Mountain

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flying Mountain House. The house was very clean and well-equipped, and its location allowed us to walk to nearby restaurants. We all had a great time and appreciated our stay!

Great summer vacation getaway

Flying Mountain was a great place to stay for our little Acadia getaway. The house was comfy and welcoming. It made our vacation very enjoyable.

Loved the location and it’s proximity to Acadia, also some cool hikes around it. Ingrid is an amazing host with great communication throughout the stay.

Great quiet location!

Great location on MDI. Easy to get to EVERYTHING and very little traffic. If you are looking for low key, cleanliness and a welcoming deer everyday, this is the place to stay. Definitely would stay again. Everything has been updated...could use a couple of rugs to soak up the sound while talking or watching TV. Can't beat the location!

Location. Location. Location. This was the perfect place for my husband and two sons to stay. We were a quick drive to Acadia National Park, the Golf of Maine mini-golf course, gas and groceries. The place was very comfortable, providing everything we needed during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Great house in the quiet of Acadia

We had a great stay and plenty of space. Our host thought things for a family to stay and made our visit to the area a warm and welcoming experience. The home was stocked with all sorts of needed products and even included extras we were not expecting.

Convenient & Comfortable Townhouse Near Acadia

Very clean and roomy townhouse for our group of two couples. Our host was very communicative and has a large selection of brochures and tips for seeing the area, plus a lovely bottle of wine. We would recommend this vacation home and would gladly stay again if in the area.

Perfect area

The townhouse was clean inviting. It’s located in a central area on the quiet side of the island which is stunning. The check-in checkout process was simple and the communication was superb. I highly recommend staying here, will be back for sure.

Property was excellent with really good facilities. Within easy walking distance of South Western Harbour centre which is a small town with good facilities. Enjoyed to Lobster pound in particular as a place to eat. Only slight downside is that noise does seem to carry between floors in cottage and to a lesser extent between neighbouring cottages. Would definitely recommend visiting Mount Desert Island as a place to say very clear communication with owner whole process seemless

Flying Mountain Townhouse

My teenaged boys and I very much enjoyed our stay. The place is new and clean. Nice having bedrooms and bathrooms on different floors. Townhouse is conveniently located near several good restaurants, coffee shop and kayaking company.

Quiet side of the island.

We loved the location and the property! Close enough to everything but quiet in the evening. The place was uncluttered and very clean! The host is responsive and helpful. Will definitely book one of Ingrid's property again.
