Yurt Glamping on the Quiet-side of Acadia National Park!

  • Our cozy Cadillac Mtn Yurt sleeps up to four guests and offers a unique blend of comfort and adventure. Yurts are circular, tent-like structures with a wood lattice frame and sturdy canvas exterior-an ancient design originating from the nomadic tribes of Asia. Today, modern yurts have become a popular vacation experience from coast to coast, offering a memorable alternative to traditional lodging.

    Inside, you'll find a warm, inviting space thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The yurt features a comfortable queen bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa, making it ideal for couples, friends, or small families. The kitchenette is equipped with a ¾ refrigerator, apartment-size stove and oven, sink, and all necessary cookware and dishware for simple meal prep.

    A full bathroom with a stand-up shower adds everyday comfort, while the efficient heat pump and air conditioning keep the space cozy year-round. All linens are provided for your convenience.

    Whether you're exploring Acadia National Park, relaxing on Mount Desert Island, or simply looking to try something new, this yurt offers a peaceful and distinctive home base for your Maine adventure.

Highly recommend this Yurt experience! Fantastic accommodations and hosts were super responsive! Perfect way to experience Acadia on the quiet side of the park and stay close to nature with the amenities of a flush toilet and shower. Beautifully decorated with everything you need!

Acadia Yurts was perfect! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for hiking, biking, and sunsets!! We will 100% stay there again!

We had a beautiful autumn stay for my daughter‘s senior trip. The Acadia Yurts were immaculate, comfortable, cozy and peaceful. Karen and Aaron are delightful hosts and their services are very well valued.

Had such a a great time and the yurts are on the quiet side of Acadia. It lets you do some exploring on other parts of MDI and you don't need to go to Bar Harbor for everything. Loved it!

Little Yurt in the Big Woods

What a charming, cute, comfortable place!! We loved our stay near beautiful Acadia National Park in this cozy and unique setting and would absolutely come again. Quiet and pretty, offered everything we needed, and the hosts were so nice!

Wonderful stay on the quiet side of MDI. Enjoyed Acadia and relaxing in the yurt after active days outside. Highly recommend, plan to visit again!

Beautiful, quiet forest retreat

We loved Acadia Yurts! Our yurt was clean and well-stocked. We were able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was great being so close to the park, as we spent our days hiking. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, unique place to stay!

The yurt had everything you needed for our stay. The community pantry was great! Having a washer and dryer on site was super convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

It was our first time staying in a Yurt and we LOVED it ! So spacious, owners thought of everything, very clean and close to Acadia . We will definitely be coming back .

Had a great time in Acadia, loved the proximity to the park and the yurt was just as cute and cozy as it looked in the pictures! Stayed in late October but we were plenty warm enough!

Staying at Acadia Yurts is a wonderful experience! You feel submerged in nature but are conveniently located to explore all of MDI. The hosts were wonderful to work with. We highly recommend!

The best managed property I have ever stayed at. Superb communication with Aaron and Karen. We cooked in every night and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The pots and pans and dishes and glassware were high quality and the kitchen was spotless.
A delightful spot to enjoy a cappuccino and a bowl of oatmeal!
What a wonderful feeling to walk into the Yurt. It was spacious, well appointed and so clean!

Just Book It!

This was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! The views were absolutely stunning, and staying in the Yurt added such a unique and cozy touch to the entire experience. It’s perfectly located—close to everything we wanted to do, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and secluded from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were phenomenal—friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to communicate with. We can’t recommend this stay enough and would return in a heartbeat!
