“When you book a stay here and you arrive, you get the feeling you are staying in a big home. There are so many homely people touches eg a fire in the lounge, chocolates there too and some port for the end of the night, beautiful comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. Great range of breakfast options too. Staff were very warm and friendly with all the guests.”

“Greeted warmly by our host and were shown where to park (right in front of our door). He also made sure we understood how to engage the lock on the door. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was extremely well stocked. Not only microwave and full size fridge but an induction hot plate. A wonderful surprise was two jars of breakfast cereal and various spreads for your toast and a full litre of milk. Wow! We had a verandah to sit out on overlooking the little fish pond. “The rooms were spacious and the decks backed onto the forest. Although a bit dated, they were very clean and tidy. The heat and ac worked perfectly and the room was quiet and peaceful. Ricky who was manning breakfast and the front desk was kind, informative and welcoming. I was a bit underwhelmed by the breakfast selection which lacked protein and was heavily focused on bread and yogurt, but there was fresh fruit every day and a fun coffee machine.
