It felt like it was a cabin used frequently by a family with many things in various state of needing repair. I had to fix two light fixtures to get them to work and I had to pound down nails in the floorboards that would otherwise cut our feet. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend! We had 3 generations together celebrating birthdays. The house is spacious yet log cabin cozy in the woods-remote but not too remote. The piano was an added bonus!! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and morning coffee /meals on the deck. Lots of games! Cacapon State Park is a hop, skip and jump away and we hiked each day exploring nature and beautiful views. Cacapon also has a nice gift shop and a cute beach, we never made it to the beach...
