We had a wonderful 2-night stay on Anastasia Island and couldn’t have been happier with this property. Our group was two adult couples, and the layout suited us perfectly — having our own bathrooms was a real bonus. The showers were hot, easy to use, and stocked with full-size body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a thoughtful touch.The front porch and garden area were especially charming, with warm colors and inviting décor. We loved sitting out there with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine catching up with our friends. Inside, the living room felt spacious, and the retro suitcase filled with local leaflets was a fun and helpful detail. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a huge empty fridge, a separate freezer, and a capsule coffee machine with capsules kindly provided.The bedrooms were comfortable, and we appreciated finding softer spare pillows in the wardrobe — a big plus for those of us who aren’t fans of firm pillows. The beds are doubles, so they may feel a little cozy if you’re used to a king, but they were comfortable. The ground-floor bedroom looks out onto a back path and bin storage area (with no odor), so we kept the blinds closed, but that was no issue since we only used the room for sleeping and changing.The location was fantastic. It’s an easy walk over the Intracoastal into St. Augustine, and we enjoyed a fabulous meal at nearby Bea’s.
