  • This darling 2nd floor balcony suite will keep you coming back for more. Imagine relaxing on the oceanfront balcony, listening to the ocean waves.. This condo has everything you need for a romantic weekend. Enjoy the beautiful ocean view or the large 32" flat screen TV. This condo owner pays for popular programming for the televisions (same channel line up as before 10/2023). There is a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam sleeper mattress if you want to wake up to the sunrise on the ocean, or retreat to your private bedroom with King size bed and 22" flat screen TV. The kitchen is modern and streamlined with a two burner flat top stove and large refrigerator. The bathroom is completely remodeled with walk in shower and new vanity. Although this unit is tiled, this condo will not allow a pet. The thoughtful tropical touches throughout gives this condo a unique beachy charm that will keep you dreaming of your well spent time at the beach! NO PETS ALLOWED Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Beautiful ocean view and access

The room was very clean and bright, exactly as pictured. I enjoyed the balcony view of the Atlantic Ocean, esp for sunrise and watching the full moon come up over the water (except for a few clouds that interfered at times).

Crescent Beach Stay

The property, although older, was in good condition, and appeared to have recent paint upgrades. The management and staff were very friendly. Our stay was about three weeks. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach, which is one of the nicest and largest beaches I've found in Florida. Even high tides left a lot of beach exposed, and low tides were really awesome.

I enjoy the beach and the pool and the staff is great. Happy they are doing renovations sad it interrupts my sleep but they do advise there is repairs going on.

The toilet felt like it was going to tip over every time you got up. The kitchen had your very basic needs. The pool and beach are awesome.

Great for enjoying coffee with an uninterrupted view. My only complaint for this unit is the bright light from hallway shining in window. The blinds did not darken room well. Had to close the storm shutters outside to darken room to sleep. But that was no problem to do. Would just suggest a blackout shade bc of those lights outside. Would def stay here again!!

Anniversary weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all we were happy with our stay. Location was good, view beautiful. The unit was very small as stated, but suited our needs. Negative points: no fan on the balcony, very hot in Fl summer sun and added heat from living room wall A/C. Fridge light went out on the second day, didn’t realize till next morning when we were packing up the cooler that it was not working at all. Luckily just lost ice and some strawberries, reported to front desk at checkout so assume it was fixed after we left. Biggest negative was the bedroom was on the parking lot/ road side so noisy and there are huge bright street lights shining into the room. Would not have been a problem if owner had been courteous enough to put up a blackout curtain. The cheap plastic blind was totally ineffective. Also reported to desk at checkout. We would consider returning to the area but perhaps not over a weekend as beach was very busy with lots of dogs and vehicles. Also would ask more detailed questions about the unit we chose.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I discovered Beacher’s Lodge in 2023 through Airbnb. We enjoyed the week so much that we didn’t look anywhere else for our 2024 vacation. This time, we booked directly on the Beacher’s Lodge website. As good as it was through Airbnb, it was even better with the amenities we had this year. Our interaction with the front desk was limited to check in and check out, but we were particularly pleased with the housekeeping staff. We were usually in our room when they came around. They were so polite and helpful, keeping up our supply of coffee, linens, etc. We absolutely love the atmosphere of the Crescent Beach community, and Beacher’s Lodge is an integral part of the experience. We certainly hope to come back in 2025.

The walking ghost tour in St Augustine was interesting. Also enjoyed the fort and Lightner Museum. The condo kitchenette was poorly supplied. No hot pads, no mixing bowls or serving bowls or trays, etc. had to toss a salad in pot. Hadn’t realized there was a two burner stovetop but no oven. The condo was newly remodeled and very clean. If you ate out every meal this unit would be fine.

Second year at Beacher’s Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second time we stayed at Beachers Lodge in January and we will continue coming back. We love to get out of the cold of Pittsburgh for a little while and enjoy the peace and quiet of this treasure of a place. From check in to the staff working around the place, everyone is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in a different unit this year and liked the unit on the second floor but the fourth floor has a better view of the ocean. We will continue to come back. Thanks!

Location was great, we enjoyed the beach and the pool! Lots of dogs so occasionally there was the barking during the day and sometimes during night/quiet hours. Walls also thin so if your neighbors are partying, so are you... ;-)

A few small improvements for a perfect stay

Heated pool makes it possible to swim throughout the year & they are pet friendly (though not all units & not this unit).The unit we stayed in desperately needs block-out curtains in the bedroom. The wooden blinds may look beachy but they did nothing to block the light from the outside, including right outside the room. Made it very difficult to sleep! Same with deck furniture. My favorite thing to do & the main reason I pay more to stay right on the beach is sitting out on the deck and watching/listening to the ocean. The captain's chairs look like they would be great but they were oddly tilted (maybe just old) & not comfortable.

Two issues - the condo we stayed in this time was loud. Very loud AC units and clanking pipes and lots of pedestrian traffic and slamming doors. Also the pool is just plain warm in the summer. It’s heated and in full sun. Is it possible to turn the heaters off during the summer?
