Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony with onsite front desk and staff

  • This 3rd floor Balcony Suite has the advantage of being an end unit. The view from the balcony is wonderful and there is even a view from the window in the bedroom as well. The view from the 3rd floor is just delightful. Beautiful seaside colors and the breeze from the ceiling fans in this condo will remind you that you are on a tropical vacation. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room (new as of February 2024) where you can sit and enjoy the ocean view or the 48" flat screen tv. The kitchen includes a 4 burner stove and oven. The bathroom has a tub with grab bar and tile surround. The living has tile floors and the bedroom has laminate flooring. The private bedroom includes a queen bed, ceiling fan, 42" flat screen tv. This condo could be perfect for you, especially if you want to bring a small pet. SMALL PETS ARE ALLOWED. TWO PETS MAX. $75 PER PET. NON-REFUNDABLE. Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Nothing fancy but was clean and comfortable. We were on the go so didn't spend a lot of time in the condo or at the pool.

The best property I've stayed at so far.

On site staff, very clean property and well kept. It's nice to stay at a condo and have the front desk occupied. As well as people working the property. Everyone is friendly and helpful and we even had an employee come to our door and ask how things were going.

It is located right on Crescent Beach, which is beautiful, and it’s close to attractions, food, and fun. The unit we stayed in was well-appointed with all the necessities for making breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. It was comfortable for a week’s stay, and the staff ate very kind and helpful.

Fantastic stay

My husband and I wanted to explore St Augustine without breaking the bank!! He loves to fish and I love to walk along the beach and read in a cozy spot!!! Although it was a little chilly outside, we loved doing both!! After all, it bear the -3 degrees and snow that we left in Michigan. We will be back!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being the end unit was very nice! The bed was very uncomfortable in the room. Everything else was great! We have stayed at Beachers for years. It was very disappointing that on our last night we needed to leave a day early and were told we could not get a refund on the last night. We left anyway and paid for a night we didnt even stay. We will probably find another place next time.

Highly Recommended Beach Condo

We really enjoyed our time in Crescent Beach and Beacher’s Lodge was a great location! Our unit was just as it was described! Everything was neat and tidy. The housekeeping people that we encountered were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I think the only negative comment we would have is the sliding door going out onto the deck was extremely heavy to close. It definitely needs to be replaced. Also, the first few days we were there the elevator on our side of the building was not operating so being on the 3rd floor made it a real drag. But thankfully it was fixed after 2 days. We would definitely recommend staying here! Perfect location and beautiful clean beach!

2 day stay in St Augustine to enjoy Nights of Lights

The listing looks on display as an apartment. The listing also describes the rental as an apartment. However, its very tiny. The cleanliness is very poor. Both televisions do not work. The lights were not going onn.The check in/out office staff was not friendly or helpful during check out. No one called us to see if we need anything. I do not recommend this rental

The sliding glass door was so hard to open and close. I had to use a pot pad on my hand over the handle and push or pull with all my might. I’m somewhat small but this was very very frustrating.

The unit is clean, cute and being the end unit on the third floor you have the added bonus of a window in the bedroom and a perfect view of the beach. I will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have our family vacation every year in this condo. Have for years. We were very surprised by the new updates and thought they were wonderful. Did like there were hooks out on balcony now for towels as we have lost many towels hanging on balcony. Having 0 carpet now has been a plus. The new couch and chair were nice. Added storage and more kitchen accessories were helpful. We did notice less tv channels and for the ones like us who don't do streaming it was a little letdown at night. The new couch was nice until time to use pullout. Much like the last one, it is very hard to sleep on as thin mattress you can feel all the metal bars. We ended up purchasing a blow-up bed. The balcony door could probably be replaced at this point. Hard to open, understand the salt making it hard, have been in other condos with new doors and not as hard to open. Ventilation in bathroom is rough, but all condos are like this there that we have been in.All in all, the updates were much appreciated, however, the unit is great being on the end so this is a major reason we picked this condo. Beachers Lodge is a great place with a great location. Some minor hiccups were happening around the property but things that aren't easy to control. We made the best of what we had with Elevator issues. Location is becoming busier due to others coming in to build more and make more public access to the beach. But there is plenty of space around that it has not hindered our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beacher's Lodge is a great choice if you love the beach! Direct ocean front units with balconies facing the beach. Fantastic sunrise views of Crescent Beach, on of NE FL's best beaches. Close to historic St. Augustine and many attractions, great fishing, biking, hiking, etc... the Beacher's Lodge puts you right in the center of it all, yet it's not crowded. Rooms are clean, but ours had a broken AC. We reported the problem ten days before we checked out, but no attempt was made to fix it. Disappointing. Rest of experience was good, however. Good heated pool, dune walkover to beach, good parking, building itself kept meticulously clean and in working order. Staff as well is exceptionally friendly and cheerful. Will always come back here when staying in the area. Many years of fond memories with friends and family at the Beacher's Lodge.

The view from the balcony is just perfect, checkin was super easy, personable and with real people, not just a digital checkin! The condo had all the items we needed to prepare pasta one night and plenty of space for us all. Even had beach chairs if you forgot them! The bed was comfy and AC worked great. Would definitely recommend and return again! We have stayed at a few of these condos and never had issues.

Wonderful evening away

We stayed in and cooked a nice dinner while enjoying the balcony and beautiful view. Planning a week long trip for some time in May now. The property is very clean and well maintained.
