The host was very helpful made it very easy to check in. Very close to the beach loved sitting on the deck watching the ocean. Backyard was fun with the pool, fire pit and putting green. The house provided entertainment for everyone and we had a great time with our family!

We enjoyed our stay during Thanksgiving week with family. Overall the home is great and as described. The pool needs redone though and the towels were skimpy. Since the description mentioned that only a certain amount of towels were provided we did not ask for more and bought some instead. I also don’t understand why they are in only one closet, we searched high and low and found them in the last closet we looked in upstairs. The outdoor area is nice and we enjoyed the fire pit one night. The walk to the beach is nice and you can choose between walking on a boardwalk or in the sand. Both paths are close to the house. Or you could drive right onto the beach if you have a 4 wheel drive.We had a toilet issue of course on Thanksgiving night and someone came out right away to help. That was great service! Thank you!

My family and I loved our stay here. The house was extremely clean and tidy. Pool and little putting/chipping green was nice. Very short walk to the beach and a great view of the ocean fro the upper deck. We would love to stay again in the future. We ended up buying cheap smart tvs to use in the bedrooms while there because several rooms do not have a tv. But that was nobig deal just letting you know incase you are planing on each room having one.

House was magnificent with more room for our family than we could imagine. The pool was very clean and nice to relax in after a day at the beach. The beach was just steps away from the house, across the street. Very clean property. Our family loved the ping pong table and shuffle board as well. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Captain’s Oasis was a great last minute find for our family! It was very clean and everything was just as stated in the listing. David was very responsive and our overall stay was great with really no issues or complaints. Would definitely recommend and would book with him again!

The check in was easy. We were happy to get an early check in. The kitchen had storage and nice tables for our group. Pretty bare so bring all that you need. Two coffee pots was good too. The walk to the beach was easy. The beach was wonderful. We could hear the waves at night. Pool was nice and big too. Would go back. TY

This was an absolutely beautiful place for our family to stay.We had an amazing view of the sunrise every morning. The house had so many bedrooms and bathrooms and everything we could have wanted and/or needed. We walked to the beach every day and used the pool every day. The putting green got used quite a bit too. It was one of our best vacations. We certainly didn't want to leave!

Great ocean view with a fantastic pool

One of the best rentals. Everyone had their own room with access to a bathroom. Beach access is steps away and everyone loved the pool. Beach towels are available which we used for the pool. There are bath towels, but suggest to bring additional towels since there are only ten. I always bring my own, so this is no big deal for me. I brought my Sandtowels for the beach since these do not hold sand. Sitting on the front deck has the perfect breeze to hang out on in the afternoons. Best place ever.

Large Home on Butler Beach

Three generation vacation with all ages. Kitchen was large enough to cook for 10 and well stocked. Beds were all comfy. Pool was warm and clean (needs to be resurfaced and retiled but was still awesome). We also used the ping pong table and putting green. House is a short walk to beach. We used Mantanza road entrance with the wagon to haul chairs. Beach was never crowded.Only unusual thing about the house is the ground floor bedroom. You need to walk through the garage/game room to access it from the upstairs and the bathroom was quite small for that bedroom. But it worked for us.

Beautiful Home and a wonderful location

Fabulous! Overall we were very pleased. The house was very clean, and there there was plenty of room for our party of 8 to be comfortable. The pool was really great, and the front porch was a perfect spot to relax early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Opportunities: I would recommend a few more towels - especially hand towels and wash cloths. The basement bedroom is perfect for kids/teens, but not so much for our age group. I should have paid closer attention to that when I looked at the pictures. The handle on the back door should be adjusted and the door seals on the refrigerator are a little worn. Otherwise, we had a truly wonderful visit!
My sister and I spent a lot of time on the front porch.

We were very pleased with the house, the Views, the location to beach and town. We had easy access to beach. The pool was great and my Grandchildren loved it. The only thing I would suggest is when I look at places to stay I want to make sure we have necessary things for the amount of people. In pics I looked I saw there was a gas grill on a porch and as it turned out there was a small stationary Charcoal grill. I was told that was an old photo and it only had charcoal one in final pics and ageement. It was too small and my Grandson who's our Griller never even used Charcoal. Other than that everything was good. Thank you

Family Beach Trip

We enjoyed staying at Captain’s Oasis. It was one of our favorite properties that we have stayed in. We have been coming to the Crescent Beach area for more than 35 years. The house was great. The location was unbeatable. The view from the front porches was my favorite. The kids loved the pool area. Thanks so much for sharing the property. We will be returning.

Terrific family vacation

This is a lovely home with great amenities and location. We throughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return. The pool, beach and putting green were a hit. A few things to note. This house has many stairs.It was fine for us but we considered bringing my mom who can navigate only a few steps. FYIIt is listed,the limit on towels available. Not enough, pay attention. We had 10 people and 10 towels, 6 pool towels. Doesn’t go far with little ones present. We went out and bought more, should have packed some.We also had one ply toilet paper. Bring your own. These are just tips not complaints. Thank you for sharing your home

Quiet Beach Getaway

Nice, quiet property with a view of the ocean. We stayed here with two other couples. The house is spacious with room to spread out if needed. The pool and backyard are a great place to hang out and have fun. It is just a short walk to the large beaches that run along the Atlantic. Although, it is away from town, it is just a short drive to get to St. Augustine.
