A perfect design for 2 elderly folks. A few simple recommendations…. Didn’t appreciate the Roku tv set up (see “elderly “! Also the plastic container in the refrigerator leaked and should be replaced. Lastly, ensure that the batteries in the tv remotes might also need replacing. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

The pool did not heat properly. There was a broken step, raised nail heads and a broken handrail on the front entry deck. Drywall repairs that weren't sanded and painted. Dirty trash can and dirty rug. The mattresses were awful.

Lovely home, walk to the beach

Check in was effortless. We were given a code prior to check in to access the front door and it worked great. The kitchen of the home is modern and updated with all the amenities we would expect. Everything worked great!

Having a pool made all the difference

Perfect location just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Loved the heated pool (especially when ocean is still cold!), jacuzzi and cabana. Also loved having a privacy fence. Kitchen has everything you need. Only drawbacks were that the bathrooms REALLY need to be updated and the bedroom linens were also pretty worn out. I’d recommend bringing your own sheets/blankets.

Spring Break At The Sapphire House!

When they say you get what you pay for, that is the Sapphire House! Our family of 3 stayed there for spring break (7 nights) and it was outstanding-the perfect set up. It's not a huge house but with the pool/jacuzzi and cabana, it felt like more than enough room. We had friends staying around the corner and would hang by the pool with us and the beach is SO close. You can walk from the beach back to the house to get drinks or go to the bathroom. The cabana had pool toys/tubes and boogie boards also a couple chairs (that people left). We would leave the chairs at the beach and go from pool to beach! It was a dream for our 13 year old and all of us really. Lots to do in the area-we went to the alligator farm, concert and the amphitheater, mini golf. Cool restaurants within walking distance. We loved Beach Comber Cafe! We also really liked the area (9th St) in the middle of it all. It was a magical vacation and we love St Augustine and hope to come back.

Nice pool home

Nice home close to the beach with alot of amenities. Beach bus stops next door, which provides a shuttle to downtown. Great back yard with pool and hot tub. Only negative was that the pool and hot tub needed serviced and cleaned. Neighborhood is very quiet

Great stay in St.A

This place was perfectly situated close to the beach and the main eateries on the St.A strip. The easy access to the surf and sand allowed for amazing New Year's Eve fireworks watching and the hot tub was very hot in the colder weather (low was around 40 and the hot tub felt every bit of its max 104). Awesome time had and highly recommend for couples or families with a couple kids.

We loved everything about it! The pool, the jacuzzi, and the property were awesome! We would have given the review a 5 star if the a/c would've kept the whole house cool. We did receive 2 rolly a/c units but it wasnt enough. The thermostat said the house was 94°. I closed all the blinds and curtains to try and help, but it didn't. We'd love to rent that place again, but I think it's time for a newer a/c unit.

Great location!

This house was the perfect size for our family of 4 (kids 8 and 11). It was only a short walk to the beach as well as many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the pool area and cabana. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely book again!

Excellent Stay - Nice Area

The property was clean and very nice. Just wished that the heated pool would have worked, but probably because it was cooler than expected. Otherwise, a very nice stay. Just want to suggest to have service done because there are ants that can be a nuisance, but controllable.

Great spot by the beach

My family with two kids (9 and 7) stayed at the property and it was great. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the location to the beach was perfect. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice relaxing beach vacation!

Family of 4 vacation

Pros- Our family of four loved the pool, cabana and outdoor shower. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. The living area (kitchen and tv area) was good for our small family, but older kids might want more space. Check-in was super easy with the keyless entry and management immediately brought over additional wash cloths when I told them there were only 2. Cons-The beds are very old and need to be replaced. The cookware also needs to be replaced. The Teflon-like pots and pans are all scratched and chipping off, which is not safe. I wasn’t comfortable cooking with several of them. The lightbulbs in the master bedroom and laundry room were both out. Not a huge deal, but still annoying. Overall, this house worked for us and we had a great time in St. Augustine. Some updates/TLC would make this house even better.

Perfect Beach Cottage!

My husband and I spent July 4th week here with our 2.5 year old and it was just perfect. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, easy walk to the beach, quick access to downtown, and the pool area was perfect! We had an AC issue that the property manager addressed very quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this rental!

Florida in November

The Sapphire is just perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a small family. Just a short walk to the beach & some amazing restaurants! Pool & hot tub right out the door. Cabana has a big screen tv & stools around the bar, perfect for relaxing after touring downtown St. Augustine. We were there the week before Thanksgiving 2021, we got lucky, weather was perfect. Will definitely book again!!
