St. Augustine Beach stay

Overall the rental was nice. The bedrooms had no storage for clothes, a dresser in the closet of each bedroom would have been helpful for our longer stay so we could have unpacked and not had to live out of our bags. The space was nice and clean. The fridge did leak, but communicated this with the owner and they were going to check it. That did not overly change our stay. The back porch with hot tub was a nice addition, but there were some issues with ants out there; we also alerted the owner to this so hopefully that is fixed. The back yard seems to be a shared space, but most of it was overgrown and really not accessible for use, which was kind of a bummer with our three kids there and wanting to be able to relax outside some. The location was great, we were close to all the things we wanted to do. Communication with the owners could have been better. Our son left his brand new lovey there (which is on us) but when reaching out to them next day about requesting if cleaning crew saw it, or if we could pay to get it shipped back to us, we were either delayed with responses or completely ignored. We were promised they would be back in touch with us to see if we could locate the lovey (we gave exact description and location of where it was left) and we never heard anything back from them. I waited to write this review after that interaction, which was in March, and we still never heard back from the host.

Perfect Getaway

This place suited our needs. Not too much to do in the immediate vicinity besides Butler Beach, but not more than a 15 minute drive from pretty trails, beaches, and the Historic District. This place was easy to locate and a perfect base camp for day trips. The weather wasn’t too hot so the hot tub was out saving grace. Perfect size for 3, 5 people might feel a little cramped in the kitchen/living room

Hot Tub Heaven

Very much enjoyed time spent at the rental. All problems incountered were rapidly taken care of, would definitely stay again. Dorothy great host and Jason great fixer. Hot Tub a real bonus

What You See Isn’t What You Get

The pictures posted do not represent The property or amenities in an honest light. The property was dirty, Many of the amenities were broken or unable to be used, and the neighborhood was sketchy at best. This is not a Saint Augustine Beach location.

Weekend getaway

Clean quiet property, easy check in and close enough to downtown. Parking area is small so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Close to the beach and attractions

We were close to everything we had planned for the weekend. It was nice to have a place to come back to that was clean and spacious. We enjoyed having the hot tub to hang out in as well as the grill to cook dinner on. We will stay here again next time we visit.

Great rental near St Augustine for our getaway

Wonderful place that has all the amenities. We prepared many meals in the full kitchen and outdoor grill. Quiet neighborhood but still close to St Augustine and the beach! Very clean and in good condition. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean but average

The interior was clean and beds were comfy. A/c unit was powerful. However, I was disappointed with some aspects: the bathroom shower needs to be updated. It looks a bit dingy and the curtain rod was rusty. We were only provided 1 roll Of toilet paper and a half used roll of paper towel. No other amenities. In addition, the fire pit on the exterior was full of leaves and debris. It was not Cleaned out and the chairs were broken, dirty and extremely poor condition. No firewood or matches provided. The hot tub was a good feature but the screened in porch was dusty! Chairs and table were covered in dust and debris. Not cool. On top of that I had to remove all of the bed sheets from the beds and leave them in a pile. And I also had to throw the towels in the washer! I dried them, too! I’m not sure why they charge us for the cleaning service when we had to do a lot of it! I’ve never stayed at a host home where I had to do those things. This host has a lot of improvements to make if they want to stay competitive. I don’t say this to be mean, only to provide an honest review of our experience compared to other Vrbo homes.

A few days away

This place is incredibly clean. I was impressed. But, the plastic cover on the mattress needs a cover over it. It's very hot sleeping on plastic with a sheet over it. The ceiling fan just doesn't get it. Communication was prompt & courteous. Very easy to work with. Parking was a little tight with a full size pickup truck but back up cams are a blessing. A squirrel came to check us out. So cute.

A wonderful place with FANTASTIC options!!

We had a great stay in St Augustine with this unit! It was super clean and well stocked. The host is super nice and had great communication. Check in was very easy, and the emails from the host were very through and useful. We very much enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of sight seeing. We enjoyed it so much that we all said we needed to come back for a longer stay in this unit! Thanks for a great weekend! We are already planning to come back!

Perfect Getaway

Took my mother and teen for a much needed vacation in the sun. This cute end cottage was perfect! Exactly as described, quiet street, quick walk to the beach, 10-15 minute drive to downtown. Kitchen was fully stocked. Hoping to return again next year!

Perfect Weekend

I booked this place for my birthday weekend. My SO and I enjoyed our stay so much that we both decided to return and book again for our next long weekend trip to St. Augustine. The house was was perfect for what we needed and the hot tub was a plus! In addition to access to the beach which is less than a mile walk, circle K is around the corner and wonderful restaurants and shops nearby. There was an issue with the toilet and it was resolved quickly. Thank you.

Relaxing and peaceful getaway.

My husband and I went for an anniversary getaway and the property was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We went on several hikes at Ft. Matanzas and Anastasia State Park. We found a Groupon for Red Frog McToads and had a fantastic server named Jennifer. We cooked the rest of our meals at the property as it was well stocked with kitchen equipment. The firepit and hot tub were a fantastic highlight to the weekend and the neighbors were welcoming and friendly. Although we did not bring any kids with us this property would be very welcoming to children of all ages. There is plenty of room for a family.
