  • Happy Does is a one bedroom unit at Grande Bay Resort. All of the amenities of Grande Bay are at your finger tips! This unit is very spacious and has an open living space so you can bring the whole family. Enjoy a Painkiller on the front deck of the unit while watching the boats come in and out of the bay! There is a large pool and pool deck, gym, front desk reception, covered parking and 2 minute walk to the heart of Cruz Bay.

Happy Does was the perfect place to stay on our visit to St. John. I only wish we could stay longer to enjoy it even more. The condo had everything we could need. The bed was super comfortable and having 2 full baths was a nice bonus as well. It was a great visit and can't wait to stay there again. Thank you!

Happy Does is a perfect place for a St. John vacation. It is an easy walk into town but also a short drive to all our favorite beaches. The space is beautifully maintained and has everything you need for a great stay. We loved having coffee on the balcony watching the pelicans fish in the harbor below.

Perfect location ! Loved having 2 bathrooms ! Very Comfortable too! Would love to give 5 stars but walls are thin & always heard neighbors moving chairs at all hours, making it tough to sleep in. Highly recommend anyway !

St. John - Cruz Bay

Our stay was fantastic! The unit was super clean, spacious and convenient to everything in Cruz Bay. I loved the parking, pool, and other amenities as well. We will definitely stay here again!

St. John’s vacation

Great location, photos of property are accurate. Spacious accommodations, two balconies were great. We stayed four days next time we will plan to stay longer. Good mix of restaurants in walking distance. Pool and hot tub are nice. Easy to get around using taxis.

Short and Sweet

We have stayed at the property a few times and glad to be back again and see the same high level of care and service! Beautiful unit, aptly supplied and in the perfect location in Grande Bay! Despite rainy weather the covered outdoor area was perfect to be lulled by the beauty and rain. Appreciate the stay!

Perfect location. Very nice, thoughtful accommodations. You might consider vending machines for soft drinks and bottled water.

We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Does! It’s walking distance to all the bars and restaurants in Cruz Bay. Able to easily catch a taxi to the beaches. They had towels, umbrella and coolers for the beach. Had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Review of Happy Does

We’ve been staying at Grande Bay for almost 5-years in varying units, this is one of the most clean and updated units we’ve stayed in. We would highly recommend this unit. It’s well appointed, convenient to the pool/elevator and quiet.

Great location. Will rent again.

Perfect for two people. Short walk to restaurants. Very nice view. Management fixed leaking dishwasher within a few hours of it being reported. Will stay here again.

Great location

This is our second stay at the Grande Bay Resort. The location is perfect… walkable to the shops & restaurants, and across from beautiful Cruz Bay. The kids love the pool & hot tub after a long day exploring the beaches. This unit was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed (Minus a grill). Would def come back.

Winter escape

Our first time staying on St. John. The condo was clean and well stocked. The location is perfect! Short walk to the ferry and great restaurants/shops. Having a place to park as parking is difficult in cruz bay was very important. The condo is well cared for. The washer and dryer malfunctioned during our stay but owners are fixing so hopefully will be updated by our next stay- things happen.

The trip was great Love St. John. The condo was beautiful. 2 downsides. The dryer hardly worked and the elevator never worked in 3 weeks. Otherwise I would definitely go back.

Top Notch Condo

Having stayed at other condos within Grande Bay, we knew what to expect from the facility and the location. This condo however was quite an upgrade from others that we have stayed at. Although we were just 2, it was set up perfectly for a family or 2 couples to have plenty of privacy. The double front facing balconies were nice. One for coffee in the morning and the other for cocktails in the afternoon. This is a fully stocked condo with upgraded appliances. You will want for nothing. Would totally recommend and stay here again.

As advertised. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding location and views just as shown in the pictures. Walkable to the restaurants, bars and shops in the seaside area of Cruz Bay. Conveniently located to visit northern beaches. Nicely decorated interior and provisions. Great communication with the owner. In fact we returned for a couple of additional nights after our second-half vacation stay in Coral Bay didn't work out. The only downside was the timing of our trip was the beginning of the slow season in St. John which meant some of the restaurants and bars were closed for the season. On the positive side, it also meant the beaches were nearly empty. Wouldn't hesitate to come back here again.
