You won't find a better location than this comfy fully furnished fully equipped 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment in an historic 4 unit building right on Historic Route 66 near the trendy South Kingshighway, South Grand and Bevo Entertainment Districts. Easy access to cultural attactions like Forest Park, the Science Center, St. Louis Art Museum, the Muny, Missouri Botanical Gardens, Historic Bevo Mill, the Arch and Downtown St. Louis.
This is NOT your ordinary rental . This is truly a HOME AWAY FROM HOME. The living room is huge, with enormous windows that bathe the space in awesome light and make the hardwood floors glow. There spider lamp give you just enough light to set the mood for relaxation, or a comfortable light to read your current novel. If you would rather watch TV, there some 60+ stations available for your choosing. Bring along your favorite DVD, or just connect to our internet.
The hallway leads past several closets to a large bedroom with a full Queen suite, large closet and large window. This is a very comfortable space that will have you "sawing logs" in no time.
The kitchen is fully appointed, with a gas stove, fridge, dining table with 4 chairs and a bench, two bar stools, microwave, toaster over, Keurig, and all of the pots, pans and dishes you will need to cook and serve your own meals.
There is a nice desk in the back hallway, just in case your trip involves a little work time!
A nicely appointed bath with towels, wash cloths, hand towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner (and of course toilet paper) help getting ready a breeze.
The back bedroom is also fully appointed with a queen bedroom set and a huge closet.
If you need a laundry, just ask. We do also have iron and ironing board in the unit.
Parking is limited to ONE CAR PER UNIT on the lot next door. Any other parking is on-street. Guest may utilize the back yard with the understanding that the yard is common space with residents who may/may not have dog(s), so if you use the yard, you waive any claims that may arise due to contact with pets.
PS If you need more space, ask us about our other rental spaces at this location and nearby.
PPS We reserve the right to assign spaces within our "collection" of spaces. If we assign a different space, there is no additional cost to our guest (even if it is an upgrade).
FINAL NOTE...We meet our guests to make sure you get in and get settled. As part of that process, you will be required to complete a check in form upon arrival which acknowledges our "List of No's" and House Rules (copy provided en suite), as well as our no tolerance policy. You will also be acknowledging your consent to our use of certain security devices in public spaces. As part of that process, we will verify ID's of all guests over 18 years old. We will verify a valid credit card (need not be the same card as used in the booking). This process is no different than the process used by hotels to ensure the safety of their staff and guests,and preserve their property. If the person(s) checking in do not match the ID's presented, or if the person who booked is a different person or has an incomplete profile, you may be refused access. All of this is done in order for the safety of our guests and staff, and to ensure that the person(s) occupying a space are in fact the person(s) who are supposed to be in the space.
