    ONE OF A FEW SPACES AT THIS LOCATION...THIS IS A 1ST FLOOR SPACE:

    You won't find a better location than this comfy fully furnished fully equipped 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment in an historic 4 family right in the Heart of Southampton Neighborhood (known locally as SOHA) in the lively Macklind Avenue District. You will notice the really cool brick, wood & tile architecture of this 1920's building as you enter your unit through the beautiful wood and glass entry door into a nice secured front hallway. As you enter the living room, you will notice the local St. Louis and Route 66 decor that frames the double reclining sofa & double reclining love seat, 40" internet connected smart TV with Roku let's you log into your own Netflix, HULU or favorites streaming services. FREE High speed WIFI is also available. The fully appointed eat-in kitchen offers a table & seating for 4 people, gas stove, fridge, walk-in pantry, toaster oven, Kuerig 2.0 (and complementary K-cup starter pack), some spices, and all of the basics. There is a nice sized bath with tub/shower combo, vanity, hair dryer, linens and even soap, shampoo & conditioner. There are two separate bedrooms (one with firm and the other with plush mattresses, full linens, etc), alarm clocks, ceiling fans, room darkening shades, nice artwork, luggage valets, hangers, and dresser w mirror. There are additional closets. Work station/desk with high speed wireless internet. Full and FREE laundry available to guests. On and off street parking. Heat, AC, fans, extra blankets, iron with ironing board also provided. Secured front hallway with cameras in public areas (not in units). Access to the back yard plus some off-street FREE parking. This space is beautiful and unique. We want this place to feel like home!

    PPS We reserve the right to assign spaces within the same building, all of which are same square footage and have similar features. If we assign a different space, there is no additional cost to our guest (even if it is an upgrade).

    FINAL NOTE...We meet our guests to make sure you get in and get settled. As part of that process, you will be required to complete a check in form upon arrival which acknowledges our "List of No's" and House Rules (copy provided en suite), as well as our no tolerance policy. You will also be acknowledging your consent to our use of certain security devices in public spaces outside of the unit (not in the unit and private spaces you rent). As part of that process, we will photo verify the photo ID's of all guests over 18 years old. This process is no different than the process used by hotels to ensure the safety of their staff and guests, and preserve their property. If the person(s) checking in do not match the ID's presented, or if the person who booked is a different person or has an incomplete profile, you may be refused access. All of this is done in order for the safety of our guests and staff, and to ensure that the person(s) occupying a space are in fact the person(s) who are supposed to be in the space. If this is an issue for you, please consider booking elsewhere.

    NO LOCALS WITHOUT SPECIFIC APPROVAL...Our spaces are intended for travelers. Folks who's ID or profiles indicate they reside within 35 miles of the property are locals and may be refused access, so be upfront and discuss it with us before booking/arrival. We do allow "local bookings" on a case-by-case basis which may require additional documentation.

    NO COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY...You can work from here if the work is not a nuisance making activity, but no, this is not a business location, film studio, photography venue, music practice studio or any a space for "atypical" business activities. This is a place to rest, relax & sleep. No parties or large gatherings.

    You will have full access to an updated private furnished, decorated and fully equipped 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment in a beautiful vintage 4 unit building in the Heart of St. Louis' Southampton Neighborhood right in the Macklind Avenue District. This space is much bigger and more home-like than a hotel room or suite. You will have neighbors, so there may be sounds, but guests are expected to be respectful and considerate. Too much noise, you will warned and/or required to leave. This is a home, not a party zone! You will be able to park off street or on street, on a first come first serve basis (one car per unit max on off-street parking). You will have access to the back yard and the in house FREE lower level laundry facilities (please send a message before first use to get necessary details).
