“The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

“Stayed just one night and absolutely loved it. The pub is cozy and welcoming, and our king room was gorgeous — luxurious bed, beautiful finishings, and lovely little touches like homemade biscuits. Dinner was outstanding — exceptional service and incredible food. The mussels were some of the best I’ve ever had, and both the fish pie and stuffed chicken were delicious. Great wine selection too! Big thanks to Martha, Grace, and Corey for making our stay so special. Breakfast was just as lovely....

“The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”
