I booked this boat as a getaway for a group of friends, and I'll be honest, we almost didn't stay. The disappointment upon arrival was immediate.The boat is far older in person than the listing photos suggest. Visible rusting covers much of the exterior, and some of the outdoor furniture is worn past its prime. Inside, the living room chairs are discolored from years of use. The main living area and kitchen were the most comfortable spaces on the boat, and I'll give credit where it's due, those areas were functional and nicely updated. However, the downstairs told a different story. The remodeled finishes and ceiling tiles feel like cosmetic fixes layered over deeper issues rather than true renovations. The grout in both showers was discolored and the wall coverings appeared to be pulling from the wall in places. As the person who organized this trip, I felt let down. We all left feeling misled by the listing. Had there been honest, accurate photos, particularly of the master bathroom, overall condition of the boat and exterior furniture, I would not have booked this property.My ask to the host is: update your photos and listing to accurately reflect the current age and condition of the boat, inside and out. Future guests deserve to make an informed decision. Transparency goes a long way, and right now this listing falls short of that. Also, the gate to the Marina routinely malfunctions at night requiring someone to climb over it.
