We didn’t love the location but it ended up being quiet. The house was spacious but had some oddities. Big thing was the uncovered vertical windows in some bedrooms since it didn’t feel private and let light in while sleeping. Other things that could be improved to make this a step above: slow drain in bathtub, missing shade on kitchen slider (had fallen down), provide washcloths and hand towels per person, make sure outside porch light works (did not while we were there), and add a little more kitchen supplies. There weren’t coffee mugs when we stayed. Host offered to drop some off but since we only stayed 3 nights they weren’t there in time. We appreciated there was room to spread out. Beds and pillows were comfortable and towels were nice quality.

Check in was easy with good communication with the owner. We got settled in and noticed some things that were some issues but not deal breakers for the stay. The sink faucet was very loose, almost to the point of coming off. Again, not a deal breaker. The closet in the bathroom was pushed inward when we arrived. It was the owners closet so we were not using it but still reported it just so the owner would know. Again, no issue towards the stay. The deal breaker was the animal which I am assuming was rats running through the walls in the kitchen. This prompted me to start looking around for more signs of rodents. In the laundry room, it clearly smelled of urine. Upon further inspection, there were fresh rat droppings by the hot water heater. Two holes in the ceiling above the hot water heater looks to be where the rats were coming in. To further confirm that there were rats was a rat trap behind the washer and dryer. At this point, we packed up and left the home. We communicated with the owner that we were leaving and told him why. He informed me that the cleaning crew said the home was “perfect” when they left prior to our arrival. We offered to pay for a nights stay even though we’re only there 2-3 hours. We would have paid half of the stay but was never refunded a dime. My mistake was I never took pictures of the issues and that’s my fault. I am 60 years old and never left this kind of review before. Renters beware….

This is not a vacation rental. Very bad neighborhood, Broken glass in the back yard with random rusted metal pieces in the back yard as well. stray cats living in the back yard. Cant run the A/C because it smells like animal piss coming out of the vents. Animals living in the attic as well, we could here them the entire time we were there running on the ceiling. Neighboring houses will be playing music LOUD from 7am till 2am the next morning. This was everyday for the 5 days we were here. Multiple Uber drivers warned us about how bad the area was.

The neighborhood was concerning at first but we had no problems. There was plenty of room for everyone. There was no extra paper products (TP & PT), no cleaners and very little cooking utensils. There were no wash clothes for showers or to wash dishes. But overall it was a great rental

Very open concept. Couches are super comfy. Bathroom tub could use a refinish and there are ling skinny windows in two of the bedrooms without coverings, which made them a lot less desirable.
