“It was a little bit difficult to find at first but we're happy once we found it and got in. This is a fun little place to explore and a quick drive into Ruckersville and not a super long commute to Chatlottesville. This was a great little get away! ”

Treehouse at the CastleStanardsville
8.8 de 10, Excelente, (5 opiniones)
“A quiet serene atmosphere tucked closely to the main amenities of the retreat but still surrounded by beautiful scenery! The grounds were sprawling perfection of relaxation and beauty. The treehouse exceeded any and all expectations from comfort, cleanliness and cozy vibes. Never heard another soul as neighbors kept to themselves, however we were often visited by the friendly cats of the community. Coffee in the early morning hours with a book all amongst the backdrop of gorgeous trees & hilly...

“I had a very pleasant stay in the Farmview Cottage! It was easy to access per the host's directions and instructions, and the host was quick and communicative regarding all of my questions. The cottage looked like the pictures, if just a bit run down in the kitchen (to be expected with a vacation share), and provided a much-needed quiet retreat while I attended and helped set up my friend's wedding nearby. My only disappointment was that many of the accommodations of the retreat that I was...

“BE AWARE fellow travelers: WASP INFESTATION HERE. Owners are fully aware and unconcerned because it's "the mountains". I'm a country gal myself and well acquainted with the cycles of nature, but not cool to let things get this bad and not disclose it. We're not talking 1 or 2, we're talking several new visitors dropping in every day from the window frames or ceiling fan in the living room. One evening had one come down from the window and get aggressive while in shower. If not for this fact,...

“We were seeking a romantic getaway Valentine’s Day weekend. What we received was anything but. Supposedly the hobbit house was part of the White lotus echo resort spa which included various sauna, spas, cold, plunges, etc. when we got there late in the evening there was no directions no instructions and we finally found the “spa area” where nothing was on, or did not work. But the absolute atrocious part was that there were feral cats running around all over the property, pawing and scratching...

“I purchased this trip. The owner took my money. Then, after I thought all was set for our trip, the owner completely cancelled our stay, citing that s/he thought I was asking for May of 2027, not May 2026. This was well in advance so why s/he thought I was looking for 14-15 months later is not understandable. I never saw the property,”
