“My wife and I recently booked an overnight stay. First impressions were good. A beautiful building (only slightly ruined by the bank of Tesla charging stations). The friendly receptionist greeted us and explained everything we needed to know during our stay. I had paid extra to stay in one of the “Spa rooms” with a four poster bed. “Very clean, beautiful and quiet location with a large room”

“I had an outstanding stay. The bed & breakfast is beautifully maintained, spotless throughout, and has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff were exceptional, friendly and attentive Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great quality ingredients. Service was efficient and genuinely warm, which made the experience even better.”

“Great value, basic, clean, not modern but did its job. I needed a comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice and peaceful, good parking and great breakfast. It was cheap. Great family hotel, very friendly.”

“The rooms are varied. The dog friendly rooms are not great, but at least you can bring your dog. The suite we had (when we didn’t bring the dog) was characterful and a good size but the bathrooms need an update. I’m not sure if this is the case across the hotel. The lady in reception is lovely, but if she isn’t there it can be hard to get help to check in. A lot of the staff are pretty grumpy and not very helpful. ”

“Didn't meet any staff, I was dealt with via text, which is a little impersonal. There was a layer of dust on the top of the wardrobe but everything else was clean and I had everything I needed. The towel was very small. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge worked very well and was silent. Overall the stay was fine for what I needed and yes I would return. ”

“Couldn't fault this hotel at all. From the beautiful grounds, the grandeur of the building, the impeccable customer service, the delicious food, the spacious, elegant room, the clean, luxurious spa. The drinks were a tad on the pricey side, but the mid week room price including spa access was excellent value for money. Would come here again in heartbeat. ”
