“The cottage is absolutely adorable! Perfect for our little Mount Airy/ Mayberry getaway! The cottage is just around the corner from Wally's Station & the Squad car tours. The town is a short distance away. We walked to downtown easily. (ages 62). The cottage has so much character and charm. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. “Our experience was very disappointing for several reasons: The bedrooms did not have available closets; all of them were locked. The pool was closed, which significantly affected our stay. We were not informed that the wind in the area was extremely strong. When we turned on the outdoor fire pit, within 10 minutes the chairs caught fire.
