The property was nice and newly renovated. The house is in a neighborhood, not a stand-alone property as it appears in the picture. The upstairs shower head didn't work well. Unnecessarily inflexible host and rather difficult to reach.

Perfect House, Ideal Location

I stayed at the Landmark with my 2 sisters. We met here for a girls getaway form PA, OH, and NC. We stayed 4 nights and never moved our cars. The house is spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, and has everything you could possibly need. We only used the coffee pot and the tea kettle, but if you wanted to cook there, it has good quality cookware, dishes, and appliances. The house is beautiful and we couldn’t have wished for anything better. We will surely return. The location is perfect! We walked to the Woodrow Wilson home and museum, glass blowing demonstration, many shops, restaurants, and attended a play at the American Shakespeare Theatre. The people in Staunton were so friendly and nice. It is a great town.

Total gem

This property is a total gem. The location in town is absolutely fantastic. It was a short walk to just about everything we wanted. Parking was great. There was never a problem with having space right in front. The house is very charming. It is nicely furnished and beautifully, intentionally decorated, unlike many vocation rentals that are just a hodgepodge. Most importantly, it was immaculate! We will definitely try to book again when we next visit the area. Thank you!

Beautiful home

We were so impressed with the Landmark. It was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and had so many amenities that we loved. It's in a great spot for walking downtown. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of bathrooms for our group of 8. Overall, we would all absolutely come back.

This was a delightful place for our family reunion. Beautiful, clean and with everything we needed. Close to downtown so no one needed to drive. Highly recommended. I look forward to staying here next year!

Great gathering spot

House layout was perfect for evening gatherings. Living room design and furniture allowed for our group (was a girls trip) to gather at the end of each day to unwind, review our day, and simply chat. Each bedroom had a noise machine allowing for a restful night’s sleep. Check-in and -out was easy. Short walk to local shops and restaurants. Parking was convenient and easy. Would stay there again.

Peaceful

The home was a peaceful oasis for my family and I while we were home for a funeral. The serenity was just what was needed at the end of tough days. Whoever renovated and decorated the home did an outstanding job. It is beautiful, inside and out. Everyone was impressed. Now that I’ve found this home, I can’t imagine staying in a hotel when visiting Staunton. Top of my list for every visit.

Wedding in Staunton

The house location was perfect for us. Close to the wedding venue and within a short walk to downtown. We were able to walk to and from all the restaurants and local attractions easily. Kitchen was great, porches were nice to have and the beds were very comfortable. The couches have seen better days. Pillow back couches are not the best choice for durable comfort. You could only sit slumped back fighting to hold your head up because the smashed pillows are below your waist. Not the way to sit for leisurely conversation or TV viewing. Toiletries that were supplied were perfect. Large dining table was nice to gather around.

We had a large family group, renting both up and down. Both places were lovely, no detail overlooked, very clean and comfortable, beautiful decor, well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Visit

We loved the well-appointed and thoughtful touches. The bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds and good linens. We enjoyed using the kitchen for a delicious dinner. The living room has two nice sofas and great windows. We hope to stay again soon!

Outstanding rental

We had such a great experience at Jamie’s place! It was immaculate, spacious, and included such thoughtful and stylish touches. The place was stocked with everything you might need, and the environment was calming and peaceful. We loved the close location to the downtown too- we will definitely be back!
