TRAVELERS BEWARE!! DO NOT STAY HERE!
INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO REPAIR OR COMPENSATE FOR FLOODED UNIT! 2 days into our stay, we sat on the couch to find the 8x10 floor rug was completely saturated as the A/C compressor was flooding the unit. We called management to fix and the “on site” mgmt dropped 3 towels on the floor behind the couch, instructing my husband to “wash & dry” the towels and replace them to keep damage at bay!!! She was there less than 3 minutes and left before I could get off the phone with my father’s Emergency Room doctor (as he was in ICU). She stated they “would not be making any repairs until after we left” and we still had 5 days remaining of our stay! We complained again, sending video of the water ponding on the floor… we had no use of the living area with the TV without having our feet in ponding water. They refused to relocate us, then made another appointment for their maintenance people to look at the situation. We spent day 4 of our vacation waiting for their maintenance personnel and they no-showed, stating we “didn’t confirm the appointment”. I have the emails and texts confirming we would be waiting at the unit after 2pm… so this was a lie and an excuse. Finally, on the last day of our trip, they called again to schedule maintenance; We would not allow access while we were away from the property as there was no safe for valuables such as passports, dive computers, etc…and we had excursions planned the last day. They refused to compensate us for 5 days of flooding.
