“I can't complement Doreen enough. Before arriving, answering all our questions swiftly. On arrival flowers and chocolates ..it was Valentine's Day. The lodge itself is like staying in a 5 star hotel. Jacuzzi bath , top notch appliances, comfortable beds and a log fire. There is a view out over the lake and so many little birds who feed just outside the cabin..we will definitely book again.”

“We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it.”

“The situation of the lodge is stunning, with rowan trees around the property. The weather wasn't good during our stay, but we didn't have to move from the sofa to get spectacular views out of the windows! There was a selection of books to read, which I made use of.
