El porche cubierto cuenta con ventilador de techo, un sofá, sillas con capacidad para 9 y mesa de comedor con capacidad para 4 personas. La entrada a los dormitorios de abajo es a trav���������������s de una escalera en la zona de porche de entrada. Parrilla de carbón, televisi���n por cable, televisi��n de 32 ", DVD, pisos de madera en todo. Ropa de cama incluido. Wifi. No Fumar. Sin mascotas. Por favor, no se estacione en la plataforma de cemento en Ion Street, esta es una acera. Aparcamiento fuera de Middle Street.

Enjoyed our stay

The house was as described, definitely vintage but loved the vibe! The location was amazing and we had everything we needed. We loved Sullivan’s Island!

Great location/cool house

Absolutely loved the house and location. Check-in process needs to be improved. We had to stop at realty office to get code for the door, and added 20 minutes to our trip. Overall, everything was great.

Girls Trip

The location was amazing. Easy walk to restaurants on Sullivan's Island and ocean. There were only 4 of us but the house could sleep many more. The beds were clean and comfortable! There is a lot of 'stuff' in the house but overall clean. There were no eating utensils (at least we couldn't find them). Other than that, kitchen is well stocked. It was a wonderful get away!

Nice location and home but....

Nice property, plenty of space, location is central to the area and easy to get where you need to go. However, I would recommend investigating some HVAC zoning for the upper and lower floors. Our stay was hot to say the least. From the time we arrived to the time we left this unit hovered at 76-78 degrees and would only drop to a moderately comfortable level of 74 at night but never lower than that.

Real reviews are hidden

It wasn’t until we had booked the place that I realized people’s *actual reviews* were hidden under the generic ones. Luckily we didn’t use the downstairs rooms as many of the reviews mentioned, the smell of mold was bad & I am highly allergic to it. The cleaning people had managed to cover the musty smell upstairs with a sickly honeysuckle air freshener. Location is great. Needs improvements to make it worth the cost.

Just splendid!!

Our family had the best of time at your place. The place was just steps away from the beach and easily accessible. It was kid friendly. We had a bunch of teenagers as well in our group who enjoyed the most as the house was just setup right for big groups. Plenty of seating areas. Wonderfully furnished. Bedrooms were spacious as well as adequately furnished. It was a wonderful stay overall. The maintenance staff were also really supportive and prompt. We did have couple of minor issues raised and they attended to us immediately. One of those was the unique Dishwasher which needed to be plugged in when needed. Other than that, the house is a second home for anyone travelling to Charleston.

Moldy smell/ water damage visible on ceilings

Two out of five rooms are in the basement of the house, next to the garage and have water issues. The ceilings are peeling due to water damage, the shower heads are rusty and the overall moldy smell in the basement and house are not bearable.

June family Get Away

I love this house. It is like stepping back in time to the house I lived in as a little girl. There were 10 of us and we had more than enough room. We could all go to our own spaces and have solitude if needed. The neighborhood is perfect. The yard is excellent. the screened in porch is a love of mine. We sat out there every night and talked for hours. The kitchen is huge and well put together. We made huge breakfasts and dinners and everyone ate together. The walk to the beach is very easy. Anything you might need ,you will find in this house. I love it. We will definitely stay again next year and this time for longer.

Home needs repairs

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The entire downstairs of the home was musty and there was mold growth on walls and ceilings. This is extremely hazardous to someone with breathing issues. There were many areas throughout the home where there was water damage on the ceiling. This home is in need of many upgrades and repairs.

Comfortable space close to Beach

The property was great for our travel needs. Very comfortable & lived in feel. Not a sterile rental which I appreciated. Lots of books & magazines to read. You like pillows? This rental has them everywhere! My bedroom had like 9 pillows. Sleeping pillows, decorative pillows, embroidered pillows..all the pillows.Also, all the kitchen accessories & serving trays you could ever need. Which was great for our party of 8. The covered porch was wonderful & great for another living space. The downstairs is where I slept. The only thing is that you do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the second bedroom. The downstairs bath is a Jack & Jill, so it’s accessible from both bedrooms. Washer & dryer is accessible via the garage or downstairs area. Quick walk to the beach. Beautiful boardwalk out to the beach. There are beach chairs at the house which the listing said there were none. Close to the restaurants & gas station.Hair dryer…nope. Diffuser for hair dryer…yesI did find the check in process a little bit annoying as you have to go to the rental office. When they could have emailed the door code. I assume it is to make sure it’s not a gaggle of kids renting it. I was just salty after a long travel day.

The house is older so some of the things that were a little difficult came from the older house. We were somewhat concerned when first checking in how hot and humid it was inside. The property manager explained how we could adjust to the lowest setting of 70. I had 9 people to stay in the 5 br house. Two of the bedrooms were downstairs but what we didn’t know they were downstairs off the frontprorch which would give access to someone from the street unless the front outside porch door was not kept locked. These room would be cooled off by one unit for both the upstairs and downstairs (outside) down some stairs. The downstairs bedrooms two other rooms a sitting room and a TV room ‘s doors had to be kept closed in order to keep them cool from the upstairs unit. The upstairs bathroom was very dirty. The track on the tin was full of dust and debris. The floor were equally dirty and each corner filled with dust. All the furniture was full of dust and rugs didn’t look like they had been vacuumed in a very long time. The kitchen had clean towels out but had holes in the counter next to the sink which was covered up. The garbage disposal would shoot water and debris out when you used it. The refrigerator where you get water and ice was covered in black mold and mildew. And had a leak which we reported. Couldn’t turn the fans on due to them being so high up. The ceiling bulged and looked as if it could fall in. A cleaning charge was made to us but the house was not cleaned.

It has tons of character with shells, toys, knick knacks to look at in every corner of the home. It feels large and has plenty of space upstairs and down. The yard is huge and the neighborhood is quiet. Kitchen is massive and has everything you need. They put the linens on the bed for you, plenty of towels, and the cleanest beach house I have ever rented. No sand on floors which I have never seen before. Company checks on you throughout week which I am not used to experiencing and was very nice touch.ConIf you are a dad of small kids like me, the hike with 100 lbs of gear on a beach cart isnt hard, but gets a little long day after day.Air conditioner struggles some once it gets HOT, but otherwise cools the place down at night and throughout the morning and early afternoon. No outdoor shower but the hose works fine. Furniture old, but beds are comfortable.Great house!

The important things are clean, the rest is dirty and uncared for. We called maintenance for many lightbulbs, a clean shower curtain and no heat because no one filled the propane tank The maintenance guy, Tyler? was fantastic: kind, understanding, efficient and knowledgeable. The woman who mowed the yard was unbelievably hard working and did an excellent job.
