Beach Pass included while staying for Dewey Beach which has paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, restrooms, snack stands and free parking, Georges Mill Beach is also included. Quiet family retreat

Came up for our annual golf trip, house was great! Plenty of room for our group. The house had everything we needed, just wish we had better weather to take advantage of the outdoor setup. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway.

Family Ski Trip

The house was perfectly located for accessing Mount Sunapee and housing 2 families with kiddos. Julie & Derek were very prompt with their responses and had great suggestions. Would love to stay with them again.

Extended family ski trip

We had such a great visit with our extended family. So easy to get to the slopes, room for all of us, fantastically well set up kitchen with a full range of organic spices. Lovely glass front woodstove for sitting around the fire.

Wonderful property, great location

We stayed here with friends to attend a nearby wedding, and enjoyed our stay very much! Plenty of space, great yard for the kids to play in (extra love for the giant tire swing) and very close to hiking trails and beaches that we were able to easily fit in visits to between wedding events. Straightforward check in and directions for access to the property and amenities.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming house in the Sunapee area. The home was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. It was the perfectly peaceful, welcoming setting for quality family time.The location was ideal since it was close to the lake, hiking trails, and some great local spots, while also being tucked away enough to feel like a real escape. The hosts were responsive and kind, offering helpful recommendations and making sure we felt at home from the moment we arrived.

Memorable Ski Weekend!

We had a lovely stay with our family and my two brothers and their families. The house was cozy and slept everyone comfortably, was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for the weekend, and was just a few minutes drive from Mt. Sunapee. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon!

Great spot for a ski weekend.

We had three families for a long weekend and this house was perfect. Two levels with bathrooms and beds allowed everyone space to spread out and relax. The house is a three minute drive to Mt Sunapee. The owners were attentive and even accommodated a slightly late check out for a car that had to be towed. All ages enjoyed the stay.spread out. close restaurants.

Weekend getaway to ski Sunapee

We came to stay as a group of 6 adults and 3 children for a weekend of skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home for the weekend. The house was spacious but cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed! The house just minutes from Mt Sunapee, Our only complaint is that the downstairs bedroom got quite hot, and that the boiler pipes were a bit noisy if downstairs. We would definitely stay here again though - the kids loved it.

Fantastic place

This a fantastic rental. Located close to Mount Sunapee. It has a large cozy living room. A spacious kitche3n well stocked with cooking "equipment,". Plenty of beds. The pond out front looks a like a great place to have fire in the warmer weather. The Hosts Julie and Derek couldn't be more helpful and hospitable. .

The hosts were extremely communicative and beyond helpful for our stay. We let them know that we were staying and planning on using the VRBO for getting ready for my wedding on the weekend. I appreciate their communication and the layout of the home. Their directions and tips were very helpful and made the stay very helpful. Thank you all so much - this was one of the least stressful parts about my wedding.

Christmas Family Ski Trip

To a person (ages 9-80) we all were very happy with your Lovely vacation home. The space is conducive to being alone or all together, it truly does not show as well online as it is in person. The one mile drive to Mt Sunapee could not be better. Everyone is looking forward to a future trip there. blessings to you in 2025

Awesome location and house

We had 2 family members including 4 grandkids. Loved the location as we could go pick blueberries, go fly fishing every day and had games in the house and outside. All of us were happy. Thank you! Hope you found the hoouse in order after we left!!!!

Family gathering

We had a family getaway with my parents. There were 12 of us and we couldn’t have been happier with the property. The upstairs of the house was great for my parents, my brother and me. The lower level was perfect for the grandchildren. We had great weather and made good use of the large front yard. The house and kitchen were perfectly stocked with anything you could have asked for. We were not crowded at all and we all slept comfortably. The hosts were very responsive to any questions that I had leading up to the trip. We spent our days at the private beach that we had a pass to. We had an amazing 3 night stay!!

Visit to Sunapee - Great for Families with Kids

My family of five adults (two couples + 70 yo grandpa) and four kids, ages 2- 9, stayed comfortably at this lovely, quiet, well-appointed mountain home. The house has four good-sized bedrooms and a sleeping nook, and the kitchen is sizable and has everything you need to cook for a large group. We also really enjoyed the spacious yard, tire swing, fire pit, and pond. The house has two living spaces - an upstairs living room/open kitchen and a downstairs den/TV room. We didn't have teenagers with us, but this house would work well if you had teens/older kids, because they could have a separate hang out space. The house is extremely clean and comfortable, and the owners are local and responsive. Dewey Beach, the free town beach, is about a 10 minute drive away, and is perfect for kids and families. We spent two full days there. The ice cream place/farm about 1/2 mile away also has a great outdoor play space, and you can spend an afternoon in the play area and seeing the goats and other animals. Downtown Sunapee has good outdoor space and was bustling on Saturday morning when we visited the farmers' market. Overall, a great place to go on a family vacation if you are looking for outdoor activities in an affordable, friendly location.

Flexibility makes it perfect for multi-family trips

We stayed with another couple with a young child. We had another back out due to travel issues, but the floor plan really allows for flexibility. We stayed in the downstairs and the other family stayed in the upstairs. But you could easily have two families with 2-3 kids stay like that. Or you could have all the kids downstairs and the adults upstairs. The location is pretty great, right across from a restaurant and so close to Lake Sunapee. If you want a truly "rustic" retreat you might look elsewhere, but the place has EVERYTHING you'll need. They thought of everything. We got the feeling that the couple who owns it actually stays there as well. Great place.

Fantastic getaway, large property

There were plenty of rooms and bedding to easily accommodate a group of 10 adults. The outdoor space was great for lawn activities. Check-in and check-out process are thoroughly communicated, and the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
