“My house got the house to celebrate my 66th birthday. He invited our daughter & her yorkie poodle, 2 of my best friends with their husbands. The guys went fishing but just spent time at the lake, the boaters were out in the water so it wasn’t a good time to fish from the docks.”

“The property was just as pictured…very pretty interior of home and well appointed. We appreciated the beautiful hardwood and tile floors as opposed to carpet.And the bonus was the large screened-in porch overlooking the woods!”

“This mountain home was perfect for our girls weekend in Highlands! There was a twin bed pictured in the listing, that was not there when we arrived, but we worked it out. There was dust/cobwebs in some areas, and trash left on the beams in the living room, but overall it was clean and felt very safe. The kitchen was a little small, depending on the size of your party, but this was a perfect place to stay if you are planning to be out and about. Downtown was only a 5 minute drive!”

“This was my 2nd time using the property for my company ELT (Executive Leadership Team) offsite. My team enjoyed the house and amenities. Most of our meetings were held in the screened in porch. Having the calming water views was a huge bonus. Several team members have requested we return for our July or October ELT.”

“This home provided us with an enjoyable stay in Highlands. We loved the great room but it needs more lighting, especially during seasons with shorter daylight hours. Beds were comfortable. The owners were great communicators. Has some difficulty with the main door but we managed.”

“We love this place. We stayed on the same weekend last year, and decided to come back. This year, the weather was wonderful. We cooked at the cabin, played in the creek, and made s'mores in the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable, and seating in the living area is cozy. The location is superb...so close to downtown Cashiers but you feel you are isolated. We enjoyed viewing several waterfalls nearby. I highly recommend this property! We hope to return again!”

“We had a very, very nice stay at this home. It is a beautiful place with lots of outside places like porches, screened and not screened and docks. And the lake from this cove is so pretty! What a view! The driveway was (to me) very steep and I know that's common with a lot of the lakefront homes. It would be a great place to stay with a huge family!”
