Relaxing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 relaxed and enjoyed a beautiful beach week. The view of the beach was amazing. We appreciated the short walk to the lightly populated family beach. The condo is nicely decorated and equipped with all the essentials. We ate out in Murrells Inlet 3 times and walked to a restaurant at the Surfside Pier. The AC did go out but that was fixed quickly.

Great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and nicely decorated the condo was. We especially loved how small the building was, the private pool, and convenient access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and the showers had great water pressure and no issues with staying hot. Allocated parking spot under the building is tricky to get into with an SUV so we ended up parking in one of the free spaces through the week without any issues. It would have been nice if an umbrella and some chairs were provided for the beach. We did find some beach toys in the unit. The listing said that there was a jetted tub and stereo system in the unit but there is not, this wasn’t a problem for us though. There also is no full length mirror which would have been nice. One thing to note is that the railing on the balcony does not seem very secure so we didn’t allow the kids out there much. We absolutely loved the family friendly location and the beach was not overly crowded. Check in/out was very easy, we liked that we didn’t have to pick up keys anywhere. We would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future.

Pretty Much Perfect!

Also, the heavy-footed neighbors in the condo above us. They stayed up past 1 and were up early the next morning. Unfortunately, this perfect location unit is one star away from total perfection!

Not a good experience

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Construction going on. Crews blocked parking and debris was everywhere. Pool dirty from debris. Scaffolding built that blocked view of ocean from balcony. Condo not really clean. Found moldy coffee left in coffee pot. Patio carpeting needs replacing. It is old and dirty. Water leakage from unit above condo, caused ceiling in the two bed guestroom to collapse and water on floor and into bedroom. Unable to use closet for several days.Have rented this condo on several occasions and never had any problems. This vacation was not very enjoyable. Although received a 10% refund this did not in any way alleviate my disappointment on this vacation. None of the other rental units were occupied all week due to the construction. No sure why Unit 202 was rented due to the construction.Had problems with the elevator on and off during the entire stay. There were times during the day that the elevator was not working at all, including the evening we arrived. Had to leave our bags, etc. in the car until the next day as I am 76 years old and unable to go up and down stairs very well due to severe knee problems. My knee problems are the reason I always try to rent the condo at Boston Commons for the convenience of the elevator.I will rent again but will make sure that the condo is ready for renters and that the complex is not undergoing renovations which should have been taken care of in the off season.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful condo, but of you're looking for a peaceful relaxing place this is not it. I know it's not the owners fault that they are below a 6 bedroom condo that you can hear everything, but it ruined our vacation. Said something to the people above about the noise because management said that's not their property and they are sorry, but it didn't matter. The next thing was parking very, very tight. If you have a truck do not think you're going to fit in the assigned parking spot. As for the condo itself very nice, perfect location, but again if you want to not get up at 4a.m. do not stay here.

It was clean the beds were very comfortable and the reclining chair was wonderful. The location was perfect close to restaurants and shopping. The only drawback would be the balcony furniture needs updating. We would definitely stay here again.

Girl's Week at Boston Commons 202

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our vacation rental The beds were comfortable which is very important for a group of 7 women. The new looking bathrooms were clean and attractive. We appreciated all of the drawers in the vanities. The kitchen was stocked with a plentiful amount of dishes, cookware, silverware and utensils. Everything was clean. The dining and living room had nice furniture and more than enough seating. The framed pictures in the DR and LR were faded and dated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out the large window at the ocean. We loved having the elevator and shaded pool. We already booked for next year! The pool and parking areas could be better maintained.

Our 2nd parking pass was useless because every other spot in the lot was full. There should be a warning about parking trucks and large SUVs before signing the rental contract.

Great location & lots of extras

Reviewer Comments: Boston Commons 202 was very well laid out and had great unexpected amenities such as a few pool/sand toys, some board games, plenty of books and extra household items like detergents etc. The condo was thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival and the beds were already made up. We loved the remodeled bathrooms especially the master! The kitchen was done well and included tons of cookware, utensils, & dishes/glassware. We liked the use of the elevator for unloading & loading our stuff but also when we were so tired from being on the beach all day. We liked being close enough to walk to the pier area for a few restaurant options but not have tons of people surrounding us on the beach. Everyone we had contact with on the phone or in person from the rental company were helpful, professional, & kind. The only downfall with this property is the outside of the complex needs some TLC. It is showing some wear & tear but once inside our unit or on the beach, we couldn't see any of that. Overall, we would happily stay in this unit in the future.

The condo was well stocked and comfortable with the exception of the ceiling fans being very dusty as well as the baseboards needing to be cleaned. I am not sure where we picked it up but three of the renters were Covid positive when we returned home. The property management were professional and made the check in/out easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Boston Commons 202. The condo was very comfortable and nicely furnished and had excellent kitchen supplies. We liked the area. Our only complaint was that the party occupying the condo above us was noisy at night from about 7 - 10 with children running and jumping constantly and also lots of movement in the early morning. Evidently there is no sound barrier between the two condos. We never heard any noise from below us. Also a truck from one of the other units took up two parking spaces outside and therefore we could not use our second parking space.

Beautiful Beach Views

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Bathrooms & kitchen were clean. The unit could use a deep cleaning. Lamps, chai railings, under furniture ( we had a toddler with toys falling under furniture) were dusty & dirty. The biggest problem were the smokers from the other units smoking on front & rear porches. The cigarette smoke would be pulled into the pool area under the house that made it unbearable to use the pool at times. We had to walk through cigarette smoke coming & going from the unit.

The beds were comfortable, the unit was clean and well stocked and the views were amazing. I will definitely be booking again... this location was within .5 miles of my father in law's home, so it was extremely convenient.

Awesome Beach vacation

Plenty of cupboard space for the items we brought. Had everything we needed in kitchen and more. Garden City Realty was very professional and kind. We arrived early. Room wasnt quite ready but they gave us parking pass and allowed us access to pool and beach while we waited. Used a different realty last year and they literally screamed at us to get off property until our room was ready. Very unprofessional. Will always use Garden city Realty in future.
