We recently stayed at this vacation home in Myrtle Beach and overall had a good experience, but there were a few issues worth mentioning.Pros:Communication with the rental company was excellent—very responsive and helpful.The location was perfect, close to everything we needed while still being in a quiet area.The beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean upon arrival.The private pool was a great feature and one of our favorite parts of the stay.Cons:There was a persistent musty odor throughout the week, likely due to a leaking ceiling that continued to leak for most of our stay.The kitchen wasn’t stocked with any basic soap or dish detergent, which made it inconvenient right off the bat.We were also slightly annoyed to have to make all the beds upon arrival. It's just not what you want to do after traveling all day.With a few improvements—especially addressing the leak and musty smell—this home could be a top-notch rental. The positives were strong, but the issues did impact our overall comfort.
