  • Private studio - Adorable! Perfect for one or two people. Double French Doors open onto a little unpaved private road featuring your own outdoor sitting area for relaxing with a good book and your favorite beverage or dining al fresco next to a little flower garden. Our neighbors on both sides also supply lovely flower gardens - so good of them! This unit has a small kitchenette, the bath features a tiled shower, a queen bed as well as a fold out sleeper couch if needed.
    You are tucked into the charming village of Suttons Bay just a minutes walk from shopping, dining, the beach, the Tart Trail and located in the center of Leelanau County.
    Leelanau is home to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park, Leland Historic Fishtown, and many trails for hiking, biking and exploring. Golf courses are in good supply and the county boasts over 25 wineries to visit and taste local wines. Traverse City is 18 miles away if you crave a little more action. The dining scene there is vast and diverse.

This property was perfect for our visit to the area for a family reunion. It was comfortable, clean, and we slept well. We enjoyed walking around town each evening, including catching a movie at the Bay Theater and dinner at the Village Inn. The location is perfect for a Suttons Bay visit.

Tastefully appointed studio. The location was so convenient to downtown Suttons Bay. We really enjoyed the patio watching the hummingbirds in the tiger lillies. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location to catch the Tart trail, walk into town and explore the area! Very clean and cozy. Nice patio to enjoy all the green neighborhood.

It's a perfect location! We were able to walk to everything around Sutton's Bay. It's a beautifully appointed little cottage(spotless!) off of the alley so it's very quiet and peaceful yet only 2 blocks from everything! Especially our favorite ice cream shop! Would definitely stay here again or suggest it to others!

A beautiful studio apartment tucked away yet within easy walking distance to all that Suttons Bay has to offer. The location is perfect — close to the wineries and just a quick drive to visit charming Fishtown. It was exactly what we needed for some R&R.We would have given 5 stars, but unfortunately, there was a dog in the owners unit that barked nonstop as we tried to relax. It made for a disappointing time spent at the apartment, even though everything else was wonderful.

Great Location!

Easy walk to downtown shops, including ice cream shop two blocks away. This was a great place for a getaway and would love to stay again.

Lovely space, lovely location

We had a wonderful stay at this studio space. It was just perfect for the two of us. The location is ideal for exploring Suttons Bay on foot and the greater Leelanau area by car.

Suttons Bay

The Buzzard’s Roost was very clean and well kept. It was a perfect location for our trip and what we had planned. Very easy to find and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and gift shops in town. Would definitely stay there again if we get to that area in the future.
