“My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night break at The Snugg, Ellingham, near Ringwood. It was a very relaxing place to stay and it had been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels were of very high quality. There is a little courtyard garden where we sat out and enjoyed watching various birds visiting the feeder. We were left a very nice welcome hamper and the owners even asked us what type of pillows/duvet we would like. Great thought is...

“The cottage is comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. It is well-situated for the New Forest and the seaside. It was a perfect for a group of friends for a long weekend stay, including a visit to Bournemouth and cycling. Jane was very helpful and responsive. Spacious kitchen with lots of pans and equipment for a roast dinner. Enclosed garden. There are shops supermarkets nearby. Very pleased with the choice, i would highly recommend this property.”

Only improvement would be changing the check in arrangements as you have to drive into the centre of Bournemouth first and there was very parking to collect the keys before driving onto the property. “We have really enjoyed our previous two visits to the Shepherds Retreat and our third visit was equally spectacular. We arrived during a storm but the accommodation was cozy and we didn’t feel exposed to the elements. I say we were lucky, because we had a beautiful walk on the beach and a couple of excellent walks in the New Forest and the weather was perfect for all of our activities. “123 Fortuneswell is great for tbose of us who want to explore an area and feel part of a community. FORTUNESWELL is ideal for its amazing outstanding natural beauty the views are really amazing. The cottage is set in the village near to amenities. You only have to walk down the hill to the promenade which has 2 superb eating venues .the cottage is by 2 brilliant bus services to portland and Weymouth really easy .We had no problem parking just down the road. “A lovely feeling as soon as you walk in the door. A very welcoming, comfortable and pristine house. Great, secure garden and a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from Burley village where you’ll find a lovely village store, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Great for forest walks. Our Springer had a permanent grin on during our stay!”

“The Potting Shed was quirky. Sofas not very comfy and had pet hair on them. Pet hair also on floir and on and under coffee table. I found this unacceptable as I wiuld if there were a lot of human hair around.”

“Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and comfortable, great for dogs too with enclosed garden and yards from the beach. Only minor gripe is that more care could have been taken with cleaning. Many cobwebs upstairs and too much evidence of the previous visitors who clearly had a very hairy white dog!”

“The property is very well located to the beach, town, bus and train station. The house is clean and very comfortable with so many extras like toys and beach items (buckets, spades, crabbing stuff, kites etc) which was a lovely surprise as I packed light! We had great communication from the host and all the house was full of really useful information about surrounding walks and attractions. As a family with young children we found this the perfect place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again”

“We had a lovely few days at the apartment. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough to allow us to get out on to the extensive balcony with views of swanage and the sea. All in all, a fine few days.”
